This haunted house was the bomb last year. This year it seems like they’ve lost a lottttt of funding. They don’t have any characters outside while you wait, it’s quiet and rather boring. There’s absolutely no hype before entering. Each room was filled with cool props but no employees to scare you. I saw close to 10 employees scaring everyone in front of us. I only had one scare and it was a loud pop. 40 bucks for one person was not worth it at all. If you would like to attend this haunted house it seems the touch pass is the way to go. If you’re stuck with a group of others and they have touch passes prepare to be bored. Poor on the management part. I understand maybe they’re having staffing issues but it still ruined my time. We saw electricians working while going through the attraction which really killed the mood. Most of the cell tunnels you walk to through downstairs are filled with nothing. No one jumps out and scares you, only loud music. Whatever happened from last year to this year just have hit hard.

Was fun but not scary! Trails of nightmare isn’t really that scary but it’s more scarier than blood prison it’s more like a museum

I had a great time art this Haunt. First, this building is amazing. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous. Warden’s Widow is an impressive sight and great start. The haunt has lots of very dark, very scary hallways and a very creepy feel. The layout is huge, or at least feels that way as you wind up and down stairs and hallways. Set design was very good, with everything from prison yard, to graveyards, and so many gruesome and creepy things to see. All of the haunt actors were very engaging, especially with the touch pass, and I had a lot of fun interacting with them.

Had a great time with the group of 10. We laughed and we screamed. I liked the guy in the straight jacket in solitary. He was terrifying, ''86'' i think he said his name was. Had a great time.

We waited in line for two hours, and then was pushed through the prison with a group of TWENTY TWO people. Each “checkpoint” in the house had workers smashing people together saying “we need to get as many in and as fast as possible”. Was very disappointing and the “touch pass” consisted of the workers poking your arm and tickling your neck. Skip this trip.

It is one of the absolute best haunted attractions around. I really enjoyed when I went down into solitary with the dark hallway it was a bit off guard for us when we were approached by a clown a female clown singing church songs to us. She at one time was actually hanging upside down on the pole waiting for us to come out of the whisper hallway. I honestly think that she is truly amazing she didn't continue to scare us after we made it past the first hallway of cells. I honestly enjoyed everything about the whole entire attraction. I will be coming back year after year! You guys always know how to put on a good show! Kudos to all of the actors! It's always nice to have something good and little Old Mansfield.

I walked through some spots where there was nobody there. There is a hallway once you get past the chapel there was nobody in the hallway. Yeah it was a little freaky to see a dirty floor in the dark but there was no scares until we reach the electric chair. But overall you guys truly did amazing!
