there was no monsters walking around, no decorations, there was one small section with 2 actual scares. a complete waste of money not worth 50$ at all. don’t go if your expecting anything but a regular trip at darien.good amount of rides were closed

$50 to get into park. No scares, saw 3 people half dressed up total that worked there. You have to pay $30 more for haunted houses that are not good. They need to revamp this whole thing or just call it standard admission, because that’s all it is. Taco place was the worst I have ever had. Will never go back.

Terrible waste of money. Empty houses with three actors maybe. Generic cookie cutter walk through. Super expensive and most rides shut down

I love Darian Lake! 2 Suggestions... -during fright fest actors were coming up within inches of mine & my children's faces! Six feet rule should be enforced especially with employees! - There should be a 'SAFE' word someone can say to make the actors back off... They are somewhat aggressive!

So we came to go to haunted houses. We bought tickets in the front of the park and a high school kid helped us. Which is fine, but he didn’t know anything about prices and had to ask people in the back. He came back and told us that it was $15 to get into the park and then $45 for all 4 houses, so $60 total. After paying we walked around for 10mins trying to figure how to get to the houses. We ending up having to go back to customer service and she said “she can’t refund us and it was just a miscommunication”. Well maybe you should hire people that know how to communicate with paying customer. Hire people that can explain what you’re paying for and where to go when you get in. Why would we pay $60 to just get in the park. And then more for the houses, it’s not like there’s any rides available or any other attractions. They should have refunded us.
