Yearly Haunted house located in Kahnawake since 2005. Non-profit organization generating donations for our local food basket.
It all started in 2005, the very first year we had the woods up and running. There was maybe 10 of us that Halloween night, but it was amazing!
James Day is the man who came up with this crazy idea, of a Haunted house. Him & his cousin Gordon really put a lot of heart into this. They thought it out, and really thought they could accomplish this. Well in 3weeks, they did something amazing, they got the whole town together. Allhallows eve, we all came together like a family for some good old fashion. Trick Or Treating.. The little kids loved it, to the adults.
James Day, has always had a love for Halloween, dressing up & scaring people, so of course you can imagine how Halloween would be his favorite holiday. Well he did something amazing that year, and hasn’t stopped since. This new tradition has been going on for the last 5 years. Everyone loves it.. its sad it only comes around once a year.
Every year we all pitch in to make it bigger and better, taking suggestions, getting friends to help out, asking around what scares people. There are always new path’s that are added all the time, everyday is a new adventure for us, Halloween is our world!
