What Is This?
What is a “Score Sheet?”
Score Sheets are our way of letting you know how we came up with our scores for this review. Each of our review categories are broken down into several questions that we ask ourselves when we leave the attraction. Each question gets its own score from 1 to 10. Each question’s scores are then used to calculate the overall score for the category. After that, each of the resulting category scores are averaged together to get the overall “Final” score for the attraction.

Scare Factor |
How scary was it? |
6 |
Mostly sightseeing, very cool to look at, and I wanted to touch everything, but not scary. Conga line doesn’t help with the way this is laid out. |

The entire group of dozens of people at a time one after another?
Impossible. |
How well did they use distractions? |

Definitely needs more distractions, ways for Actors to hide and pop out unexpectedly despite the lines going through. |
How predictable were the scares? |
6 |
Actors were mostly stuck out in the open, so not much in the way of surprises. |
How many different types of scares were there? |
6 |
The approach seemed to be the same throughout of just having the characters interact or use lines for storytelling |
How strong was the finale? |
6 |
The ending scene is one of the coolest parts, and going into I thought maybe here they will hit us hard, but it was disappointing.
Looked cool though. |

Entertainment & Value |
How long did it take to go through the haunt(s)? |
9.45 |
For a 40 minute walk through time. |
Was the entertainment provided worth the ticket price? |
9 |
By having the prices be so low it is still worth it to experience this special place. Even Fast Track is reasonable, eventhough I don’t think it gets you through that much faster. VIP prices I dont believe are listed, but it certainly was cool to bypass all the lines. |
How effectively have they used their available space? |
9 |
20 acres on the grounds and they seemed to use it all well. |
Entertainment & Value Score: |
9.15 |

The Scare Factor is modifying its review criteria for 2018. This means that some of the questions above may be different from how they were worded when this attraction was reviewed. During this transition, we will be adding, editing, moving and removing some questions to/from various categories. This means that some of the individual questions and resulting scores may not contribute to the overall score for the category that it is listed under. These potential inaccuracies only apply to reviews that were written before the 2018 haunt season. However, the overall category scores and the attraction’s “Final Score” will remain accurate. In the long run, we feel that these changes will benefit our visitors and the attractions alike by allowing us to be more fair to a wider variety of venues. If you have any questions about our review criteria, contact us today and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can.
