Bloody Fork Haunt has completely rebranded and moved locations this year! They now have two attractions included in the ticket price. Both are completely new so be prepared for two haunts full of excitement and scares!
This attraction is located in Bristol, Tennessee, and is a full-contact haunt. You must sign a waiver before you enter, and the haunt is not recommended for children. Everything is marked with plenty of signage, so you will have no trouble finding anything.

Cast Review:
Inside “Bloodbath” there were actors everywhere! Around almost every corner, we encountered a new spooky face. Only a few areas would have benefitted from having more actors. But, overall, we felt that they filled the haunt very well!
The actors in Bloodbath were compelling in their roles. We enjoyed so many actors, but some of our favorites were “Big Mama, the girl speaking Latin, the first werewolf we encountered, and Lucius, the bartender. There were many others, but these were the best performances!
“Big Mama” was incredibly interactive. She got in our faces, pushed us against the wall, and even picked one of us up! Great job, Big Mama! The very next scene had a girl speaking Latin. It was as if she was trying to exorcise us! We also really enjoyed the girl in the rundown trailer trying to find her mama. Poor girl. We think her mom got eaten by a werewolf.
We experienced multiple behaviors in “Bloodbath”. Some actors would stand and stare, jump out and follow, get in our faces, sing and dance, and many other behaviors.
Inside the corn maze, actors were a bit scarce. We would have liked to see more actors in the haunt because, at times, it was boring. However, when we would come across an actor, they were extremely unexpected and very scary!
Each actor we encountered did a pretty good job of playing their roles. We enjoyed the hillbilly mama in the beginning and the weird guy on the bus. The hillbilly mama was very interactive as well. She got in our faces with a cowbell and told us, “Her boys are going to LOVE us.” YIKES!
In the corn maze, most of the actors would jump out and “rawr” but not do anything else. We would have liked to see more variety of behaviors within this haunt.

Costuming Review:
The costumes in both Bloodbath and the corn maze were incredibly unique and detailed. In Bloodbath, we encountered many werewolves and vampires. Each of them had a look to make them different from the rest. Many of the werewolves looked like they had just fed so they had blood dripping down their faces. And the vampires weren’t much cleaner, except for Lucius, the “Bar and Kill” owner. In the corn maze, we encountered multiple hillbillies with their unique look. Then, of course, there was the tall skeleton with a fire scythe.
Masks and makeup were used with a lot of detail in both attractions as well. We enjoyed the first werewolf’s makeup. They looked so real, with yellow eyes and hair sticking in all directions. Very well done! They didn’t use a lot of masks, but the ones that were used were realistic and fit the actors well.
In Bloodbath, we encountered many different characters and scenes. Most of the attraction was outdoors in the woods, so werewolves fit well in those scenes. Some scenes looked like someone’s home, and werewolves picked them off one by one. Then, there was the church scene with the nun, the priest, and the assistant.
In the corn maze, we mostly found hillbillies with different weapons and costumes. There weren’t any scenes except the corn itself and the school bus with the weird bus driver.
The queue actors at Bloody Fork Haunt are so much fun to watch! They mess with the guests and even mess with each other. There was an elf person and a skull-masked character that kept chasing a vampire around. It sure kept the crowd entertained! They all looked very real, too. From their masks or makeup, their costume, and their behavior, they all put on a great show!

Customer Service Review:
Bloody Fork Haunt is very easy to locate if you just put the address into your GPS. They have plenty of lights and signage to direct you where to turn. They have parking flaggers and a tractor hayride to take you from the parking lot to the entrance and then back when you are done. The ticket booth and queue line are clearly marked as well.
This attraction seemed very safe. We felt there was adequate lighting inside each haunt, around the parking lot, and in the Midway area. They appeared to have police on site for emergencies. Nothing seemed dangerous at all.
Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed speaking to them because they all genuinely wanted to know our opinions. We even noticed some actors being helpful when people were truly lost inside the corn maze.
This attraction has an amazing website with a lot of important information. They have the location, dates/hours, ticket prices, theme, touching policies, etc. We were happy to read up on the theme beforehand because they always change it every year! This attraction is also a full-contact haunt so everyone is required to sign a waiver or have a parent/guardian sign it for them if underage.

Immersion Review:
The pre-haunt atmosphere was exciting. Bloody Fork Haunt had multiple queue actors, spooky music and lighting, a horror movie playing on the big screen, concessions, and vendors selling spooky-themed items.
It was obvious that we were in the woods with werewolves and vampires in Bloodbath. The scenes made us feel like we were immersed in some woodsy area where a few families lived, but werewolves and vampires have taken over and killed many helpless victims. The story carried through the entire haunt. There were a few areas where we got stuck behind another group but we weren’t stuck long and the actors made it work.
Upon exiting Bloodbath, we were greeted by an employee who told us to hang out for a moment to let the group in front of us go through the next haunt. We only waited a few moments before we were able to enter the next attraction.
The storyline was slightly less clear in the corn maze. We entered through a school bus where the guy inside wanted to take us on a field trip, but he was really weird about it. Immediately after, we were greeted by a cowbell-wielding hillbilly mama who told us her boys were going to LOVE us. And after that, we got lost in the corn maze and encountered a few more hillbillies, but no scenes except the corn.
Upon exiting the corn maze, we were immediately back in the Midway area. We felt like we could stick around, grab something to eat, sit at the bonfire, or watch a horror movie on the big screen. You could easily spend a few hours here!

Special FX Review:
The sounds inside Bloodbath were very effective. We enjoyed the general sounds over the loudspeaker which consisted of howling, creaking trees, rustling, heavy breathing, etc. And some areas had their own sounds, such as the church that was playing organ music. All the sounds worked well!
Each scene was very creative as well! Everywhere we looked, there was something used as a prop or a distraction. There was so much detail in each area. It appeared that they thought of everything in this haunt, from the lighting to the pictures on the walls. We really enjoyed the detail!
Each prop and animatronic within Bloodbath was effectively placed to create a creepier vibe. Our favorite scene was the first trailer we went through. “Sully” was there and he appeared to be evil, as well as many other stuffed creatures.
We enjoyed the special effects used in Bloodbath. They used MANY different colored lighting, fog, and strobe effects. They even used running water and blasts of air.
The sounds inside the corn maze were almost nonexistent. In some areas, we could hear some screaming or general sounds, but overall it was quiet. Most of the time, the quiet was boring, and the attraction would have benefited from more sounds.
Overall, the corn maze did not have any scenes. The only ones we encountered were the school bus and the corn, in general. We believe if the corn maze would have had more scenes, the haunt would have been more exciting. We really enjoyed the school bus though!
The only props or animatronics used in the corn maze were on the school bus. There were no props or animatronics in the corn, and we feel like they could have benefited the haunt if they had been used. The guy on the bus, though, appeared to have a creepy collection of stuffed animals. Very weird!
There were some special effects used in the corn maze. We encountered some fog and different colored lighting in the distance. But overall, it was just a general overhead light to make sure the path was well-lit.

Scare Factor Review:
Bloodbath scared us. It scared us many times! With the actors, lighting, scenes, props, and music combined, you are sure to want to run away screaming from this attraction. They did a great job of scaring our whole group, too! They don’t single you out just because you are a screamer.
The scares in Bloodbath were unpredictable. We seldom saw them coming. When we thought they would scare us from the left, they would come up behind us. They also made great use of distractions. Especially because their scenes were so cool, you may be paying attention to all the details when an actor decides to sneak up on you.
There was so much variety of scares used inside Bloodbath! They would use jump scares, distractions, phobias, camouflage, blood and gore, victimization, and our personal favorite: sensational. Sensational scares were used toward the end where we had to EAT something in a vampire bar. FYI, be careful; Lucius said he found the food outside, so who knows what it truly is. LOL
The finale is decent because we ended on a nasty note after eating food in the vampire’s bar. We will NEVER do that again!
The corn maze did not scare us that much. Because we didn’t encounter many actors or scenes, it didn’t feel very scary. We certainly enjoyed it, though. It’s always fun to get lost in a corn maze!
Even though the corn maze was not very scary, it does not mean they didn’t provide scares to our whole group. At one point, we got bunched up with multiple groups, and the actors did a pretty good job of scaring all of us.
The scares in the corn maze were only slightly predictable. This was only because we saw them before coming around the corner. Many of the actors would stay in the same place, too, so we already knew where they were hiding if we got turned around and had to come back.
The corn maze only used a few different types of scares. The main one was jump scares, but they also used disorientation, where it was dark, and an actor with a bright light horn jumped out, which impaired our vision.
The finale of the corn maze was a bit lackluster. Once we found the exit, there was one hillbilly actor with a loud horn. It could have been more fun if something else was there that made us want to run away screaming.

E&V Review:
We had a great time inside Bloodbath. It was scary, gory, and entertaining! The corn maze was fun but not very scary. It would have been much better with more scenes, but it was still entertaining! Overall, this haunt felt long enough, and we are glad we made the trip out here to visit their new location!
The entertainment that’s available, excluding the main attraction, was decent. They offered queue actors to scare you while you wait, a horror movie on the big screen, a bonfire to warm up next to, and a spooky setting in the woods.
The ticket price is $30.00 per person which includes admission to both attractions. We spent a total of 35.5 minutes inside the attractions, so the minutes per dollar rating is 1.18, which is much higher than we normally see at haunted houses in this area. We are happy we were able to visit this haunt and hope to visit again next year!
