GPS directions will bring you to the correct address with plenty of free parking nearby. Their website is easy to navigate and allows you to acquire tickets ahead of time. The ticket booth is up front, and the main entrance is easily found between the two big Skelly Boys standing by the main line entrance. Marked staff stand nearby to guide guests to designated lines and can help answer any questions. Queue line actors work their way around the crowd and use off-the-cuff dialogue to interact with guests. Music plays, and a makeshift elevated stage is used by actors, scoping… Read More…

The crowd lines up before the entrance and gathers below a makeshift stage with professional lights set up. The actors eagerly interact and joke around with music playing in the background. We entered a space covered with stone; it felt dark and cold. The stone deafened the sounds from the outside, which was a perfect time to be given the house rules. Off we were sent up the winding stairs to our adventure. While there wasn’t a set theme, there were sections of rather troubling and disturbing themes. Oversized props extended and created a sense of vulnerability while the actors… Read More…

Special Effects9.01

5 Points has plenty of great effects throughout the attraction to complement such creative scenes. Many scenes have Fog layered in various areas to help provide a great ambiance. One of the first rooms is layered with thick fog and replicates a swampy front yard. It works well while the actor is stating something is inside the yard we are standing in, giving us plenty of motivation to move asap! There are a few giant props throughout the attraction that seem much larger than the room they reside in. The outside of the attraction has a butcher-like area with chainsaws… Read More…

5 Points has plenty of characters throughout the attraction, both inside and out. Queue actors vary, but all have a level of uniqueness to the outside, creating an entertaining queue. One actor wields a mechanism tube that produces a very loud pop and startles the entire crowd. One actor has a pathway laid out to be able to safely scale the entrance of the attraction; therefore, they have a vantage point of the entire queue. Inside the attraction, the actors were very hyped, even as we were the last group to go in. I can only imagine the level of… Read More…

5 Points provides many different scares throughout its attraction. There are plenty of pop-out scares throughout the attraction which are very well timed and sudden. The actors bring plenty of scares as well. The church scene is incredibly well done, with the nun characters being a strong force to come across. They can contort themselves and crawl in unusual positions, making the whole experience scary. Many of the props are very large and are used in impressive ways. The bedroom scene, for example, holds a giant hand that reaches over a quarter of the room. Further inside the attraction, there… Read More…

On the night of our visit, our walkthrough took 17 minutes. Tickets start at $27 for GA, with Priority Entry at $40. While the MPD is 0.63, a bit lower than the national average, the entertainment and talent packed in this building is well worth every cent. The gift shop is packed with merchandise of their brand along with stickers, mugs, and hats. The taco truck is also worth mentioning with their great customer service and variety of delicious food. 5 Points promotes an escape room that is available during the off-season; live actors are an option for an additional… Read More…
