Eeriebyss Factory of Terror Review (2025)

Prepare to be Terrified!

Haunted House (Single)
This attraction was reviewed by Team Night Stalkers on October 25, 2025.

Final Score: 8.22

Seeking a new, professionally unreviewed haunt for the Scare Factor’s website, we chose to visit Eeriebyss Factory of Terror. Celebrating its 11th year, the attraction is in a 120-year-old building that keeps guests moving, as they repeatedly climb up and down various staircases. Navigating the building is disorienting; after climbing and descending multiple times, you lose track of which floor you’re on. Although we estimate the factory has four floors, it appears that only two or three are in use. This confusing setup makes it feel like you’re nearly done, only to discover more of the haunt remains!

Cast: 7.61

1. Did it seem like there were enough actors? (25% of score): 7

2. How creative, believable, convincing were they? (35% of score): 7.38

3. How interactive (verbally, physically) were the actors? (20% of score): 8.38

4. Was there a good variety of characters (behavior)? (20% of score): 8

As we made our way through the attraction, we met a variety of cast members. At the start, one cast member greeted us at the entrance and, with a grin, asked if we had said goodbye to anyone, in case we didn’t make it out alive. We laughed and said our only goodbye to him, which made him chuckle as he informed us our journey was about to begin.

Upon entering the attraction, we were greeted by several cast members who stood out. The clowns in their section were especially entertaining, impressing us with their creativity and engaging scripts. Another unforgettable character was Ghost Face, quietly lurking through the halls. Although he never spoke, spotting him in different parts of the attraction made for a truly eerie experience.

As we moved to another floor, we encountered Freddy Krueger, who ended up being the stand-out cast member of the entire attraction and our favorite. He was extremely interactive, impressively creative with his lines, and truly unforgettable. Guiding us through multiple doors, he cleverly managed to bring us back to him repeatedly before finally letting us escape the nightmare and move forward.

We did wish there were more cast members or that they were spread out a bit more, since some areas felt bare and understaffed. While we weren’t sure if that was their full team, the cast members who were there gave a great performance. We’re excited to see how they do in the future.

Costuming: 7.71

5. How complete, unique, detailed were the costumes, accessories? (35% of score): 7.38

6. Were the masks, makeup creative, detailed, realistic? (30% of score): 7.5

7. How appropriate were the costumes for the respective scenes, themes? (20% of score): 8

8. How believable-, detailed-looking were the queue actors? (See Note if N/A) (15% of score): 8.5

Some costumes really stood out, though others felt a bit lacking. Overall, the costumes still looked decent. We believe we saw Leatherface in this attraction, but we’re not completely sure because it was quite dark. However, the outfit and mask looked very much like him, and the cast member wielded a battery-operated saw, which had a great effect and is only possible because the attraction is indoors.

We loved Freddy’s and Ghost Face’s costumes; they were both dressed in full outfits identical to those in the actual movies. We also really enjoyed a convincing Predator-like costume, which was both effective and highly realistic. Additionally, the cast member on stilts sported an impressive costume paired with a cool accessory.

Customer Service: 10

9. How easy was it to locate, park at, navigate the premises? (25% of score): 10

10. Safety (Only dock points for TRULY DANGEROUS hazards!) (30% of score): 10

11. How professional, helpful, friendly were the staff members? (25% of score): 10

12. How easy was it to find pertinent information before arrival? (20% of score): 10

The customer service here was fantastic. The GPS took us directly to the location, where we immediately saw a large, illuminated sign and a smaller parking sign showing where to park. After we got out, security greeted us, especially since you can’t take bags inside the attraction. Once security had greeted us, we joined the line and noticed that there were porta-potties available outside.

We noticed that every stairway inside the attraction was brightly lit, ensuring no one would fall. We truly appreciate the staff’s attention to safety for everyone walking through the building. Each floor was kept free of tripping and slipping hazards. Just be sure not to run—no one wants accidents caused by unnecessary risks.

Their website is straightforward and user-friendly. Navigating requires minimal effort. All open dates, locations, and ticket prices are clearly displayed, making it easy to plan your visit.

Immersion: 7.57

13. How well did the pre-haunt areas ("vibe") prepare you for the attraction/s? (25% of score): 6.88

14. How obvious, creative, believable was the storyline? (See Note if N/A) (20% of score):

15. Were you completely, consistently immersed inside the attraction/s? (40% of score): 7.75

16. How well did the "vibe" flow after, between the attraction/s? (15% of score): 8.13

Upon arriving at the haunted attraction, we noticed that the outside line was uneventful, with just one queue actor interacting with guests and music playing through a speaker. It was unclear if the unsettling sound was intentional or if the speaker was damaged. Aside from some interesting window display details, not much else stood out. Once inside, there was a spot for a photo opportunity, a small merchandise shop, and a scare cam offering photos of guests’ scared expressions.

We appreciated the paintings on the walls in the indoor waiting area, as they added a nice touch. However, we felt the space could have been enhanced with more entertainment, as well as some lighting and music, to help guests become truly immersed in the attraction.

This attraction does not have an overarching storyline but instead offers different themes that are well-designed and enjoyable. The variety of themes enhanced our experience, and we remained immersed throughout. We didn’t see any distracting elements like wires, fog machines, or actors’ personal items, which greatly contributed to the believable and immersive atmosphere.

Special Effects: 8.39

17. How effective were the sound effects? (20% of score): 8.38

18. How realistic were the scene designs, details? (30% of score): 8.13

19. How effective, realistic were the props, animatronics? (30% of score): 8.5

20. How well did they use creative, special, sensory effects? (20% of score): 8.63

The attraction’s sound effects and music were both loud and effective, enhancing the overall experience. In contrast, some areas were intentionally quiet, which added to the atmosphere. Although the theming was a bit inconsistent, the detailed execution ensured you always knew what to expect as you entered each section.

The lighting here was well done, with some areas dark and creepy and others brightly lit, allowing us to see all the details in each scene. The attraction featured a variety of props and animatronics throughout. Our favorite was the Predator alien animatronics, which, when activated, started spitting water everywhere – a unique effect we hadn’t seen before with this type of animatronic.

We really enjoyed the sensory effects here. A highlight was the vortex tunnel, which was perfectly set up and spun at an ideal speed, making us feel very disoriented and dizzy. In the clown area, we crossed a small bridge platform that started to move unexpectedly, adding to the unpredictability. These effects were both highly effective and kept us guessing about what would happen next.

One of the most memorable effects of this attraction was the moving floor. As you walked across it, the floor would sink, enhancing the overall effect. We’ve never encountered anything like this in any other place we’ve visited, making it truly unique and one of a kind.

The Scare Factor: 7.92

21. How scary was it? (35% of score): 7.5

22. How well did they provide scares to everyone in the group? (15% of score): 7.88

23. How predictable were the scares? (25% of score): 8.5

24. How well did they provide a wide variety (types) of scares? (10% of score): 8.25

25. How strong was the ending / finale? (15% of score): 7.75

This attraction featured some decent scares, mostly provided by cast members, with additional frights from animatronics and drop doors. The Predator alien was particularly effective; by standing motionless like a mannequin and then suddenly jumping out at guests, it created a memorable scare. Similarly, the cast member on stilts added to the terror, hiding in corners or lurking in hallways to surprise and frighten groups of visitors.

Our favorite scare of the night happened in the clown room. We were so focused on the props and the visible cast member that we didn’t notice anything else. Just as we were about to pass a box, a second cast member suddenly burst out, making us all jump in the air. This surprise was extremely effective and so much fun! We could hear groups behind us getting the same scare, so we knew it was a great spot for a scare.

Entertainment & Value: 8.82

26. How satisfied with the entertainment provided by the MAIN attraction/s? (50% of score): 9.13

27. How satisfied with OTHER entertainment INCLUDED with the ticket price? (25% of score): 7.5

28. How appropriate is/are the ticket price/s? (25% of score): 9.5

We spent 27 minutes inside the attraction, which felt even longer due to how immersive and detailed it was. For $25, they offer only general admission tickets, resulting in a Minutes Per Dollar (MPD) value of 1.08 – above average in our experience. The main attraction was very entertaining, and we appreciated the thoughtful details throughout. Additionally, discounts are available on their website, so be sure to check for deals. Overall, the ticket price feels very appropriate for the experience inside the haunted house.

The only entertainment outside the haunted house was a queue actor dressed as a clown, who would slide around and scare guests, adding some fun to the wait. There is also a photo spot and a small merchandise shop. While we wished for more entertainment outside, it’s understandable since most of it happens inside the attraction.
