The Fear Forest adventure begins as you cross beneath the archway, watched over by a ghoul perched above with a lantern in hand. You step onto the caged trailer, which they call the “hayride.” The tractor rumbles to life and begins its slow crawl down a gravel road through the darkness until a burst of light reveals a giant pumpkin shooting fire into the sky.
Welcome to the heart of Fear Forest. Here is where you purchase your tickets, get some food, and decide which attraction to face first: Fear Crops, Fear Factory, or the haunted woods of Fear Forest itself. The choice is yours, but each promises its own hellish nightmare.
When you emerge from your dreadful selection, you can warm up by the bonfire and listen to the horror-inspired music specially selected by the DJ. Creatures wander aimlessly through the crowd, stopping for a requested photo or to eerily stare at you. After your nerves have steadied and you muster up enough courage, you can complete your quest to survive the terror of the remaining attractions.
Before you exit, grab some memories with the abundance of larger-than-life photo ops, and the merchandise trailer offers items as proof that you survived the night. Then it’s back onto the hayride, surrounded by laughter, gleeful chatter, and that strange feeling that maybe not everyone who got on will ever be the same.
Fear Forest isn’t just well run, it’s alive with the spirit of Halloween. You can feel it in the air, and it makes you question, was it just a show… or did something follow us back?
The scare actors delivered a top-tier performance. There were plenty of actors placed throughout the haunt’s attractions, ensuring every space had movement and suspense. The characters were creative and convincing, combining hideous banter with an eerie energy that kept us on edge. They stayed in character with every encounter, having excellent interaction with us. The actors didn’t just appear and vanish; they engaged, responding to our reactions and making each experience distinctive. This haunt crew clearly loves what they do, and they show it in every scare and grotesque smile.
Most of the scare actors purposefully crafted their own costumes, paying attention to detail, making them dirty where it was needed, bloodied where it made sense, and always matching the surroundings. Accessories had authenticity, while makeup and masks looked professional, adding to the facade, which led to a believable attraction. Each detail, down to the grit and gore, contributed to the illusion. The effort of the costumes gave the haunt more realism, which added to the scares.
The Customer Service was amazing, and everything appeared to run smoothly from start to finish. The venue was easy to find, park, and navigate, with staff giving helpful directions. Safety was outstanding, with pathways clear and staff attentive to guests’ needs. Every team member we met was professional, friendly, and excited to be part of the show. Information before arrival was easy to locate online and accurate, making the entire visit uncomplicated. Operations were run with military precision, and this crew pulled it off while making it look effortless.
The immersion was exceptional! The pre-haunt vibe set the tone with great lighting, sound, and contagious energy that made the wait part of the experience. Inside each of the attractions, transitions between scenes were smooth, keeping us locked in the flow with almost no dead zones or awkward pauses. The scare actors, effects, and scenes were cohesive and added to the ominous atmosphere, making this a captivating experience.
The Special Effects were balanced between not enough and too much. The sound was layered, intentional, and used to build tension instead of just making noise. Scenes were carefully constructed, full of detail that kept it interesting but not distracting. Props and animatronics were used strategically, enhancing the actor’s scares rather than overpowering them.
There were plenty of sensory touches from fog bursts to lighting shifts that helped to keep customers guessing what was coming next. Everything felt thoughtfully placed, high quality, and integrated into the experience rather than just added for filler.

The intensity of the attractions was maintained by planned pacing and well-timed delivery of alarming surprises. The haunt kept us guessing with shifts in tone and actor approach, proving that we were not safe in any direction, even from above and below. The unpredictability kept us on full alert as the characters balanced jump scares with slower creeps that built hesitation between moments of chaos. There was an excellent mix of scare types, making it nearly impossible to predict what was waiting ahead.
The only slight dip came in the finale. While the end of each attraction was still solid, it didn’t have the usual grandeur of surviving the final creature. The scares flowed throughout the scenes, and then you exited, not giving the conclusion that is seen at most haunts. Even so, this haunt knows how to make hearts race and adrenaline spike.
The attraction was a full-throttle experience packed with creativity, scares, and high production value that left us grinning. Additional entertainment included roaming actors, photo ops, and a D.J. playing high-voltage music that kept the fun going before and after each attraction, making the night feel complete. Ticket prices were appropriate for the length and quality of the haunt. When you factor in the performance, craftsmanship, and the amount of fun, this haunt delivers serious bang for your buck.
