Narrowly escaping the viral outbreak and possession of our souls, Fear Reach Scream Park is back for the 2025 haunt season with three all new themed houses for your horror-fueled entertainment.
Coming to life on a U-Pick Blueberry farm during the regular season, two of the houses in the Scream Park are completely inside haunts, while the third is an outdoor maze. Each haunt has a lore to go along with the horrors you experience, so it makes it a bit more immersive as you walk through. Below are the house stories for this year’s haunts:
Lab 12-55- The abandoned lab is run by Obscura Agents, which aren’t exactly performing ethical experiments. During a freak equipment malfunctioning accident, there is an outbreak of viral contaminants, and you are right there to witness it! You find yourself having to escape for your life, and save yourself from the infected scientists preventing you from getting away. Will you become infected too?
Possession of Reach Manor- While the Obscura Agents are investigating the hauntings and unexplained activity within the Manor, while also attempting to harness its dark energy; they happen to uncover a dark, sinister evil hiding within. Hungry for the souls of the Agents, the Manor comes alive in revenge, ready to make sure you never leave its dark halls. You will find yourself running for your life!
Obscura Agent Training- Agents are disappearing at an alarming rate, so now is the time for recruiting. You will enter a specialized training facility, where you will learn to become an Obscura Agent and test your abilities to, well, stay alive. Coming face to face with the horrendous creatures that Obscura has captured over the years. But don’t worry, those cages definitely can’t break open…or can they?
If you are looking for a night of frightful fun, this is your next stop! Not only are there three completely unique and immersive haunts to experience, but there is a jam packed Midway area that comes complete with its own spooky bar serving alcoholic beverages (and even mocktails!) with tons of seating, live musical entertainment, several food truck options, and even games like Jenga and Cornhole, all with Obscura Agents, ghouls and infected zombies lurking about!
The creativity of dialogue was great when it came to the scare actors. We were especially impressed with the delivery from some of the cast in Possession of Reach Manor. These guys pulled dialogue that we have never heard before- there was one point in the house with one of the Agents speaking of harvesting our souls and how we must like to watch because we had our camera lights on! It was so well thought out and put together, not just a carbon copy saying we hear all the time. Bravo to them!
It seemed like there was a shortage of actors in the houses we went into. Not sure if it was just because it was early in the season, but we know Fear Reach usually has a decent number of scare actors within each of the rooms, so it may have just been the night we attended. Unfortunately, we did not get to review the third outdoor maze, Obsura Agent Training.
In Lab 12-55 there was a scene in the basement of the Lab, where one of the Scientists was torturing a helpless victim in a cage with a shock device. She was so believable and played her role so well, you could truly see the rage behind her eyes as she lunged towards you with her electroshock torture weapon!
Overall, for the cast that was there, they did a great job compensating for the shortage of actors that night honestly. Many ran from scene to scene acting out a different role for each, just to make sure we had a good number of scares while we walked through.
Each character’s costume was unique, weaving right into all the haunts’ themes seamlessly. Once we read the story for each of the houses, it made it easy to understand why there were certain characters in each of the scenes, adding to that immersive environment surrounding us.
The queue and Midway had a few characters lurking about too, complete with terrifying masks and weapons. It was nice to see the interaction they had with the guests as they wielded their knife or cattle prod shock device like they were going to shock you!
Many of the actors did lack the use of face makeup, masks, and special FX makeup, but there were quite a few interesting characters, after all. The costumes could also have been a bit more elaborate and had held a bit more blood and gore. I’m hoping that is something they will add a little more of in the next season.
I particularly loved the lesions and protrusions on the face of the stilt-walking outbreak zombie in the Midway area and wished there was more of this on other actors within the houses.
The staff at Fear Reach Scream Park were nothing short of cordial. We always enjoy our time and each and every staff member made us feel welcome while we are there. The bar staff was attentive to all our needs. Overall, everyone always makes sure you are taken care of and are having a great time.
There was an air-conditioned restroom trailer on-site and most of the seating areas – as well as the bar – are indoors/covered. Parking is free, well lit, and is located on property, just in front of the scream park. The park is located on a U-Pick Blueberry farm, so there is a bit of a drive back to get to the park, but do not worry, there are signs directing you where to go.
The website has a ton of pertinent information that will help you before you go, along with each of the house stories for you to read beforehand. Although the haunts are mostly indoors, it is recommended to bring bug spray, as you are technically on a fruit farm. Closed-toe shoes are always recommended.
Each of the haunts had fantastic stories and lore that allowed you to become truly immersed in their environments. The scenes did a great job at continuing those stories in each room, building upon the story as you walk through the mazes.
One haunt in particular, Possession of Reach Manor, was a beautiful, dark Victorian dream. Complete with ghouls and possessed Agents, each room was like stepping into another part of this evil Manor and we knew we might not make it out alive. There was a specific room in the house, it was the living room, which was two stories tall, immediately bringing your eyes up to all the windows and candles above you as you entered the room. The attention to detail was everywhere you stepped in this haunt. My favorite room was the one with all the papers strewn about. It was like a tornado of evil energy came ravishing through the room, leaving a whirlwind of papers swirling about in front of you as you walked by. There were even moving dolls in the corners and pictures that reveal terrifying spirits behind them, adding to the extra creep factor.
I would like to see the other haunt also have a little more immersion and attention to detail added to their scenes in the future. I felt like many times walking through, that the walls or corners could have something more added to bring in that immersive feeling of walking through a Lab or an infection Outbreak zone.
The final scenes for both haunts, Possession of Reach Manor and Lab 12-55 had interactive endings with an escape room feel to them; something we have not experienced at a haunt in this area before! Both ending scenes fit the theme of the haunts well and completely tied the stories together, so you were not left feeling unfulfilled afterwards. The endings were so creative and unique, allowing you to leave the haunt in a way that wouldn’t just have you walking out a hallway to the exit; you feel like you are part of the haunt now… and that you might not make it out alive! Unfortunately, we were having technical difficulties for Lab 12-55 that evening, so we did not get the full effects of the ending scene, but we knew what they were trying to portray, and it was still terrifying!
In Lab 12-55 you walk into a room of glowing blue lights, illuminating weapons on the wall. The details of this scene were so realistic, it was like we were really walking into the Obscura Agent’s weapon room, and we might not want to be in there after all.
There was a nice mix of sound effects in each of the haunts. The Possession of Reach Manor really gave you the feeling that you were walking through an evil haunted Manor. The lighting was dark and gloomy, with just the right amount of flashing lights and strobes. You were still able to see all the details of the house, while remaining in the dark environment. Finding the use of drop pictures and body parts falling in front of you was a nice addition and added that extra flair. I do think there could be more things added to peak your senses, such as more smells that make you feel like you walked into a rotten room of decay, and feelers that make you think something brushed up against you as you walk by.

The scares did not disappoint us at Fear Reach. We loved how everyone came out of their comfort zone to show us totally unique and terrifying characters. The scares even came in the Midway area, with creatures and ghouls lurking about. There was nowhere to turn that was safe! Some of the cast were so believable, I forgot I was walking through a haunt at times.
The immersive environments added that extra layer of fear to our visit, allowing us to feel like we were walking through a real haunted Manor and an abandoned lab with a horrible viral outbreak occurring deep within its walls. We found ourselves braving each corner we turned and were left shaking after the creative endings!
The Possession of Reach Manor not only terrified us with their cast of Obscura Agents, but the Manor itself was something we will never forget. We almost did not make it without getting possessed and losing our souls that night! This was certainly a favorite for the evening.
Fear Reach Scream Park has a well-spaced out Midway area complete with the Pitchfork Bar, where they serve alcoholic beverages, as well as non-alcoholic mocktails and sodas. There is always live music being performed and tons of seating all around. You have cocktail servers walking around with themed shots (the ones this year are Antidote syringes, so you do not end up like the creatures in Lab 12-55’s viral outbreak!). There is also Axe throwing, and a Gyroscope ride.
Throughout the Midway there are many photo op areas, particularly a beautifully lit Jack o Lantern wall with the Scream Park’s name right in the center, along with a themed outbreak military vehicle with zombies aboard.
Included in ticket prices are three haunts and access to the Midway area with food trucks. Ticket prices are $35 for regular admission to the three haunts. There is also a speed pass add-on for $20, that allows you to enter the speed pass line and limit your waiting time. The double pass ticket is a $15 add-on that allows you to go through each haunt twice. New ticket option for this year is the Secret Agent season pass that allows you to enter each night they are open this season, going for $100.
Fear Reach Scream Park is open every Friday and Saturday night through Nov 1, as well as Thursday October 30th. Hours are 7-11pm.
If you are looking for a spooky, fun time with some added scares in the mix, you do not want to miss Fear Reach Scream Park! You will have fun in the awesome Midway area and will leave with just the right amount of terror instilled in you!
