I would rate higher if I could. This trail is perfect for someone like me who is clausterphobic yet loves haunted houses. There are some spots where it's a bit enclosed but you get out of it soon. They have great scenes and a dedicated staff. The Trail of Nightmares is my favorite thing to do in the fall! I chose to do this as part of my bachelorette party and I loved every second.

One of the best haunts around. They actors are amazing and they definitely have the best scares around. I will definitely be taking my kids through next year.

This was my second year going to this attraction and I will go again next year! Every year there seems to be more and it is a fantastic way to enjoy a haunt! It’s creep factor is high due to being in the woods and the actors do an amazing job! It is a fantastic value and just an overall good time! Going again next weekend with a group of friends! Can’t wait to do it all over again!

We came to The Trail of Nightmares before heading over the The Mansfield Reformatory's haunted attraction and were so impressed with the length, quality, and fear factor of The Trail of Nightmares, we were almost disappointed with our experience at the reformatory. The drive from Cincinnati is long enough to warrant an overnight stay, so I would definitely go to both attractions if your commute is lengthy.
