Woods of Terror makes a great evening out w friends. It was fun watching the band and interacting with characters before we went in. It wasn't as scary as past seasons but still worth a visit.

Me, my husband and 2 friends went on opening night. And it was horrible. Not because of the rain but because they didn’t space us out enough and we were right on top of other people, we didn’t even get scared, the whole point was to be scared. I feel that it was not worth the money. The staff was nice though
Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: Space people out more, that way people get scary

From the time we got there till the time we left there wasnt a dull moment. From the attractions to the actors to the music and the venue, its all excellent! Everyone was very nice and professional! Ypu can tell just how much time and work go into everything. So many different things ive never seen done in a haunted attraction, and ive been to many! I would recommend Woods of Terror to anyone looking for a great time and a great scare!

From the sign beneath the McLaurin Farms entrance to the large ‘exit’ signs in the parking lot, there is always something to guide visitors to where they need to be. There are plenty of non-costumed staff around inside the attraction that can answer questions about the haunt and its 28 year history or that can direct guest to the folks who can. The Midway Monsters may never break character, but they will point a visitor on their way, often with a horror-filled spring in their step, should they be asked a question.

We all came as a group the beiginning of us arriving and waiting for our ticket name to be called the band was good the dj was great we love Luke Lucifer he was our fav. When it was time to get in the line to complete the trail the man that was letting us in didn't seem very friendly seemed like he was a little aggravated, that was strike 1. Then in the trail we get into the line to get our 3d glasses for the clown house and the older lady that was giving us instructions on when we enter the clown house ( witch the art work was AMAZING! ) she was arguing with a guy for having fun like aren't we there to have fun she was very disrespectful towards him and very rude and no professional at all that was strike 2. STRIKE 3 when we reached the purge settings the little girl that was doing her job at first when we were walking up she was trying to do her job or whatever and my friend was in front of me and the little girl came up to her and was trying to scare her and my friend reacted (as we are suppose to its a HAUNTED FORREST ) and the girl came all the way out of character to tell my friend in an aggressive tone "your not cute, keep it moving" we all felt away because that was uncalled for on so many different levels it was too the point that we couldn't enjoy the rest of the trail because your staff was soo rude and soo unwelcoming we are unsure if we would want to visit again to avoid confrontation and I really hate that that happened because we really love Halloween enjoyments and we would love to see your staff be better and nicer
Features Noticed: Suggestions for the Attraction: When you train your staff make sure you indicate that the guest are there to have fun.

My friends and I go to WOT every year. There's always something new. Ed is always there and is always super nice. The atmosphere is amazing. The music gets you pumped up for the haunt. The costumes look so real and look professionally put together. Keep up the great work you guys. Can't wait to see you all this year. ❤

This was my first visit to Woods of Terror. I was impressed with the midway actors and the laid back atmosphere.I had heard about certain parts of the attraction that may trigger my claustrophobia which made me a little nervous. I was the skinniest one in the group which really helped when we went through the tight areas which were basically like a giant inflated tunnel that we had to squeeze through. The actors and sets were great. I was very entertained. I can't really give a good review on the "scare factor" because it takes alot to scare me. The other girl in our group was victim of several jumpscares which caused her to scream a bit. My favorite part was the 3D clown house. The effects were amazing. I told my boyfriend that I wanted a room in my house with the 3D skulls on the wall lol. I really like the actors' dialogue and the banter between us and them. They were fun! I was impressed with the flow--how one set bleeds into another almost seamlessly. The sets were detailed and well planned. The actors used their scare space well. The parade to the heavy metal Woods or Terror theme song, then the National Anthem with fireworks was a great way to bring a crowd together and kick off the night! I had a fun time!

I didn't wear a bag for hygenic reasons. I don't trust that I would be getting a clean bag. It couldn't be any darker in that maze if it was vanta black. I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I can't imagine the bag over my head would make that much of a difference. Michael Myers looked great! He should be stallking throughout the entire attraction. He is extremely popular and I'm sure alot of people would be freaking out seeing him roaming about.
