What They Liked Most:
This place is closed now, I was a scared actor there
What They Liked Most:
The website says the attraction is recommended for 13+. I think it’s more of 9+ age range. I wouldn’t say it was a complete waste of money/time being ... there since there’s enough quantity to justify the price and it’s always fun watching a chainsaw guy chasing the screaming kids. I’d say they have some ideas that can be great if they improve on the execution. Some of the scare actors are great but there just isn’t enough of them. I don’t mind having quiet sections where you’re walking alone to build tension. But when there’s not enough points to release the tension, it just becomes boring. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends (who are all seasoned haunt attendees), but I would say it’ll be a decent place to start for someone in Columbus area that can’t take much scares but still want to do something for Halloween season or just want to entertain tweens for 3 hrs on October night. If you’re traveling over an hour though…probably better to go to Haunted Hoorah instead for less intense haunt.Read More
Suggested Improvements:
Need more scare actors. Maybe get better artist for the sinister sideshow and pleasant screams. The generic clown art on the wall seemed all the same ... and photoshop on past patients were bad (though in a pretty entertaining way of I was allowed to stop and get a better look)Creating low visibility with fog is a good idea to an extent but don’t put props on the floor for those sections. I bumped something against my shin in Devastation. I wish there was better way to obscure security staff inside the haunt by the emergency exits (not convinced it was even needed)Read More
