Cast Review:
Millers Thrillers had no shortage of actors, and they really committed to their roles. We encountered hillbillies with mullets, clowns, miners, crazy fishermen, and even Davey Jones, the pirate, all delivering lines that matched their characters perfectly.
“Crickets in the front, worms in the rear!” said the eerie fisherman. “You look like gold… FOOLS gold,” said another as we passed through the mines. Even those who did not speak had the creeper stare on us in dark corners. Even in conga line backups, the cast really stayed true to their characters.

Costuming Review:
The costumes and masks at Millers Thrillers were top-notch, offering a wide variety of characters that were hard to keep track of. On that note, even mentioning a creepy “stroke face” mask that stood out!
The clown and freakshow crew had especially well-done makeup that added to their eerie vibe. Each actor’s outfit perfectly matched their character, from the hillbillies in overalls to the long duster coat and hat in the western area, and even the fisherman fully decked out in his gear, hat included. The attention to detail really helped immerse us in the different scenes throughout the haunt.

Customer Service Review:
All the information you need about Millers Thrillers is available on their website, where you can also purchase tickets in advance. One thing to note: keep a close eye on your GPS when you’re heading there, as it can sneak up on you.
But don’t worry—you won’t miss it! Two massive spotlights, visible from the highway, light up the sky and guide you in. We spotted those lights almost 10 minutes before we actually arrived, which added to the anticipation and excitement as we got closer to the haunt.
All staff members were nice and helpful. The haunt itself was also easy to navigate.

Immersion Review:
Millers Thrillers brings an insane amount of entertainment to the table. The pre-haunt vibe is top-notch with tons to do: merchandise, food, and even a full-on show right on the midway in front of the big house! There’s a stage show, photo ops galore, and everything flows perfectly into the haunted house’s storyline.
That said, the only downside was the dreaded conga-line backup. While the actors tried to keep delivering scares even in the conga line, it still pulled us out of the immersion when we had to stop and wait. We managed to go about seven minutes before the conga-line kicked in.
While we hit standstills, we took time to look at the scenes, as well as what is around the scenes themselves. There are crazy rock formations, and when crossing bridges you realize you are a little off the ground. We saw many old rotted boats around the scenes, and they have it covered even outside the path you follow.
Once you finish the haunt, you’re immediately dropped back into the bustling midway, where you can dive right into the zombie paintball experience. Just follow the same path for both attractions. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention they have live goats in the haunt. Yes, goats! This place seriously has it all!

Special FX Review:
Millers Thrillers truly outdid themselves with sound and music, from eerie carnival tunes to a full DJ jam session that kept the energy high. The scenes were incredible: a full pirate ship, a fishing shop with bobbers hanging from the ceiling, and a cemetery with gargoyles and a hearse.
The set designs were just as impressive. From a detailed flower shop to a bait-and-tackle store, they nailed every theme. They even had a slide! There was even an old house with vintage decor, including photos of Elvis and JFK.
One of the wildest features was a bus suspended on shipping containers that we had to walk through. There was a garage scene equipped with lockers for the crew, car horns blaring, oil filters, and license plates all around. Every scene felt like you were in it. No detail was spared. Oh, and yes, don’t forget all the creatures of the woods; there were gators, snakes, a horse, and cows too!
Add in fog so thick I couldn’t see the scares coming, fog bubbles, a vortex tunnel, and a wild light show, and it certainly felt like a Halloween party!

Scare Factor Review:
The scares at Millers Thrillers were solid, but not a perfect 10. When the timing hit right, the whole conga line got a jolt, but there were moments when the reset was off, and we saw a few scares coming.
That said, there were definitely surprises! One scare nearly knocked me off my feet and had me stumbling backward! The variety of scares kept things interesting with creepy sounds, clever jokes, and some well-placed props. Shane even got grabbed by a floor scare, which was a great touch!
And yes, the finale was with the clowns, and it was wild! While it was not the scariest, but it was definitely fun and packed with energy. It was a scene we will surely NEVER forget!

E&V Review:
At $30 per ticket and spending 39 minutes inside the haunt, that puts us at 1.3 minutes per dollar (MPD), which is above the average value for haunted attractions. With all the other entertainment options included—like the shows, photo ops, and merchandise, it’s a huge win and an amazing time for the price! They also offer a combo ticket for $45, which lets you slay zombies with paintballs on the hayride, adding another 30 minutes of action-packed fun. There’s so much to do, and for the price, it’s an incredible deal!
