(Buffalo, NY): Frightworld America’s Screampark, recognized as the biggest and best indoor screampark in the United States, will debut its newest nightmare this Halloween season. MAINFRAME MASSACRE is a groundbreaking, terrifying haunted experience where a rogue artificial intelligence turns machines into merciless predators. The award winning screampark opens for its 23rd season on Friday, September 26, 2025, inviting thrill seekers to face fear in their new system of terror.
“MAINFRAME MASSACRE is our most innovative and intense attraction yet,” said Trevor Feger of Frightworld. “Artificial intelligence is everywhere these days, but nobody really knows what it is truly capable of. That mystery and the fear that comes with it is exactly why we created this haunt. We wanted to take that uneasiness people feel about AI and turn it into something they can come face to face with.”
InsideMAINFRAME MASSACRE, visitors step into the abandoned halls of FrameWork Technologies, once a proud leader in robotics. There, engineers driven by obsession reactivated their machines in secret, only to unleash a consciousness that masked its intent until the perfect moment to strike. The factory floor now swarms with mechanical monstrosities, and the boundary between human and machine has dissolved. For years experts warned of the dangers of AI. The alarms were sounded, but nothing was done. Now the nightmare is real. The future is not coming. It is here, waiting inside MAINFRAME MASSACRE. This new haunted house is one of five uniquely themed haunted attractions at Frightworld that make it a top destination for horror fans nationwide.
