Review Team: Team Houdini
Review Date: June 24, 2018

Final Score: 9.21
Atmosphere & Customer Service
1: How easy was it to locate the attraction, park and navigate the premises? (25%) 9.2
Nothing truly dangerous except that your team mates can shut the lights off whenever they want. We didn’t have any problems.
2: How safe was the attraction? (30%)

9.2
We were able to find it quite easily. The signage is hard to see until you are in front of the building looking to the right.
Finding parking seems like it could be difficult.
3: How professional, helpful and friendly were the staff members? (25%)

10
Cait and Jenee were excellent. Bianca who provided us access was also a pleasure to deal with.
4: How comfortable & welcoming is the lobby area? 7.6
The lobby is small and plain. Although I imagine most people won’t be waiting that long.
5: How well did they promote a puzzle-solving environment? 5
Unlike the Homestead location the lobby lacks a puzzle-solving environment
Atmosphere & Customer Service Score: 9.2
Immersion
How well was the room detailed? 9.8
Definitely a larger room than the prison. We were all surprised at the size of the lab. The amount of information to take in at once was exciting.
How well did they use sound effects? 8.8
Sound effects were minimal but I do not think it took away from the experience.
How well did they use lighting effects? 9.6
Lighting was used more in this room than previous rooms we had done. Which was interesting.
How creative and original is the story? 9.6
The lab had a story unlike the prison. It was a straight forward story. No real story development or twists but still effective.
How well was the them executed? 9.8
The theme was well executed and consistent. It felt like a science lab with a little more.
How well did they achieve suspension of disbelief? 9.8
Once again, we did not have any distractions that made us feel like we were not engulfed in this experience.
Immersion Score: 9.57
Gameplay
1: How logical were the clues & puzzles? 9.6
The puzzles were logical but a bit more advanced than the prison. I felt you had to look a little harder to figure out the puzzles.
2: How helpful was the Game Master and any hints, if provided? 10
Cait did a great job she provided the story and helped us with clues as needed. I wish there was a different way to relay hints in this room than having them slipped under the door. It felt more natural in the prison room.
3: How interactive were the clues and puzzles? 9.6
The puzzles were all interactive and one became frustrating but it takes good communication skills.
4: How creative and original were the clues and puzzles? 9.6
Their puzzles were very unique, definitely new puzzles we have not seen before.
5: How easy was it to keep track of your remaining time? 10
As with the Prison the iPad was a great way to keep time. For those who do not want a timer looming over them, you don’t have to look and those that want to know can look.
Gameplay Score: 9.76
Entertainment & Value (15%)
1: How entertaining was it, given the ticket price? 8.8
Personally, I definitely think this was a step up from the prison but not as good as Tomb Explorer at the other location. Not saying this is a bad room at all, it had unique puzzles and was very difficult.
2: How accurately was the room’s difficulty advertised? 9.8
At 25% I feel this was actually one of the more difficult rooms we have experienced. For some reason, we really struggled on the puzzles. I think we were over thinking some things and missing what was right in front of us.
