How well was the room detailed? 10
Incredible detail. It felt like we were in a subway. News stand, Pape box, pay phone were all great touches. Every wall was covered in Graffiti providing that real gritty feeling.
How well did they use sound effects? 9.7
Sound effect fit the era. 80’s music in the background. Sound of the subway train moving.
How well did they use lighting effects? 9.2
Lighting effects were used well. Dimly lit subway station. Black lights providing hidden clues. Lights going in and out on the subway ride. Were all excellent touches.

An original idea for an escape room, reminiscent of The Warriors from the 80’s.

The them was well executed. The set designs the surprise of the train moving, the back ground music was all exceptional.

Once the door shut we felt that we were in a subway no doubts at all. Everything felt surreal. From the first area to the subway car to the final stop. All felt like a real experience.

Gameplay
1: How logical were the clues & puzzles? 9.7
The clues made sense and were different. We liked how the puzzles fit the subway map and travelling needed to escape. Also using actual Pittsburgh neighborhoods added to the realism of the game.
2: How helpful was the Game Master and any hints, if provided? 9.6
Eric did an excellent job, providing guidance and help as needed, Letting us struggle long enough before giving a nudge in the right direction. The walkie talkies were useful but didn’t feel as fitting in this them. Perhaps using the a call system though the subway speakers or conductor would be more in depth.
3: How interactive were the clues and puzzles? 9.9
Puzzles were very interactive. Some needed all team members to do things simultaneously. Communication between our team was necessary. As well as having multiple puzzle to be worked on at one time was nice.
4: How creative and original were the clues and puzzles? 10
The puzzles involved were all fresh, I have not seen any similar puzzles so far. Everything was original and fresh. Very well done and surprising.
5: How easy was it to keep track of your remaining time? 9.4
The time was provided in 15 minute increments by speakers in the rooms. Which I have no problems with , I know other people do not like not knowing the exact time. I also term my stop watch on when we enter so I have an idea of time.
Gameplay Score: 9.72
