Summary

Sinister Schoolhouse brings a whole new meaning to a school invasion, trading unruly students for a classroom full of creepy clowns! From the ringmaster stirring up thrills out front to the clown-infested classrooms and hallways within, this old school is anything but ordinary. Every room delivers its own twisted touch, making this a lesson in terror that’s sure to leave a lasting impression. Best part: this is the longest 3D haunted attraction we know of, making the scares and thrills feel closer than they may seem. Class is officially in session, and these clowns aren’t handing out any A’s! Sinister… Read More…

Guest Experience8.88

Finding information about Sinister Schoolhouse was made easy with both a Facebook page and a website available to guests. Parking was a little confusing at first and could have benefited from additional signage, but staff were quick to assist us and get us pointed in the right direction. Everyone we encountered was friendly, approachable, and pleasant to speak with, and the entire property was well-maintained. The entertainment began before we even crossed the threshold, with a couple of scare actors greeting us with their delightfully creepy smiles. The real star of the pre-show, however, was the Ringmaster! As we moved… Read More…

Immersion9.4

Sinister announces its presence long before we ever reach the front door. Red lights bathe the exterior in an ominous glow, while flashes of wild activity flicker through select windows, offering glimpses of the madness waiting within. Even a van bearing the attraction’s title serves as a reminder that something sinister has taken up residence here. Yet, upon arrival, we were greeted with a surprisingly comforting sight. A cheerful, “Do you want a s’more?” welcomes us beside a small bonfire and a booth serving Sinister Sips. For a moment, the atmosphere feels almost homey, a peaceful little gathering before the… Read More…

Special Effects9.43

The soundtrack of this hellish school is less about music and more about the sounds of madness. Clownish giggles and bloodcurdling screams echo through the halls, accompanied by the relentless banging on walls. Any music playing is nearly swallowed by the surrounding chaos, and that’s precisely what makes it work. The atmosphere is loud, unpredictable, and delightfully unhinged. Each room offers its own unique design, with every section feeling like another twisted piece of a deranged funhouse. While the attraction may not rely heavily on animatronics, it makes up for it with creative set designs, carefully placed props, and sensory… Read More…

Characters9.24

Every clown at Sinister brings a different flavor of madness to the circus, with each character sporting a distinct look and personality. Some embrace the traditional clown aesthetic, complete with white face paint and classic markings beneath the eyes, while others take a much more eccentric approach. From wild makeup designs and floral embellishments worked into their costumes to faces covered in black light-reactive dots, the variety keeps the cast visually interesting. No two clowns feel quite the same, each bringing their own unique twist.  Adding another layer of personality, every clown has a name and a backstory. There’s something… Read More…

Scare Factor8.46

When Sinister goes for a scare, it doesn’t pull its punches! The scares come in hot, and they come often. Even when a clown wasn’t necessarily going for a direct scare, their antics and personalities still managed to entertain us and earn a few laughs. Whether we were jumping out of our skin or laughing at the madness unfolding around us, there was rarely a dull moment. Some scares were easier to anticipate, particularly when black fabric separating sections gave away the potential entrance point. Others, however, were timed beautifully, catching members of the team off guard and delivering some… Read More…

Value9.02

For a ticket price of $25 and approximately 30 minutes spent inside the attraction, Sinister delivers an MPD of 1.2! But the value extends well beyond the school’s door. From the moment we arrive, there’s entertainment to be found both inside and out. Whether you’re spinning the Ringmaster’s wheel of fate (and hoping my video is out there somewhere!), enjoying a s’more beside the bonfire, or sipping on one of their Sinister Sips, there’s plenty to make the visit feel like a complete experience rather than just a walk through a haunt. The combination of thrills, interactive entertainment, and welcoming… Read More…

What They Liked Most:
Good, authentic scares! Not full of animatronics like a lot of other places. The 3D aspect is awesome, you can’t find anything like it anywhere near!
