We have nothing but good things to say about our time at Hallowscream from the perspective of guests. An excellent professional website provides you with everything you need to pre-visit, and when you’re approaching there is ample signage from the road, the front being well-indicated by giant skull signs. Parking is free and within an easy walk to the entrance, and the attraction itself is laid out in a simple hub-and-spoke pattern, so interior navigation proves no difficulty.
A very professionally managed haunt, we had great interactions with staff who were incredibly excited to be there, and the site itself seemed well-loved and cared for. One of the excellent features of Hallowscream is the spread of entertainment platforms – whilst you do have the main stage with its electric shows, dotting throughout the event are micro stages and many roaming actors, so there’s always something to see whilst waiting in line.
The only slight caveat we would have to experience was queue flow. The application of batching was slightly inconsistent, with some mazes letting us enter with just our group, and others batching us with larger groups. This was particularly notable in “Necropolis” which operates on a timed entry system by the attendant. In that case, our group was not taken in for some time, even though other groups arrived after us who did enter. We think this might have been just the opening night pressure of such large crowds but could simply be solved by taking groups in order they arrive.
