Looking for the top Georgia haunted houses? Over the past summer, we hosted our second annual nation-wide poll, where haunted house-goers could vote for their favorite “Must-See” haunted attractions in Georgia. We’ve tallied the results and posted them here so you can find the biggest, best and scariest haunted houses in the State! #10: Alee Terror Plantation Haunted House
Savannah, GA
The Alee Terror Plantation Haunted House is owned and operated by the Shriner’s of Savannah. 2017 will also mark their 11th season!
#9: Haunted Manor of Davisboro
Davisboro, GA
A “Must-See” attraction indeed, the Haunted Manor of Davisboro takes place in a two-story, Victorian home.
#8: Scare House of the South
Gillis Springs, GA
This attraction gives themselves an “R” rating and is thus known as “Georgia’s Most Extreme Haunt.” This is NOT a family-friendly attraction and their website plainly states,
“Do not bring kids here.” So, if you’re looking for a higher-level fright fix this haunt season, then be sure to swing by Scare House of the South!
#7: Folklore Haunted House
Acworth, GA
Folklore Haunted House offers multiple indoor haunted attractions, all at one location just North of Atlanta!
#6: Paranoia Haunted House
Canton, GA
For the 2017 haunt season, Paranoia will be featuring not one… but TWO different attractions: Experiment X and Slaughter Shack. They are also known as “North Georgia’s largest and most talked about haunted house!”
#5: Netherworld Haunted House
Norcross, GA
Netherworld was the highest-rated attraction out of over 110 haunts that our review teams visited last year. Team Jefferson Starship had the privilege of visiting this prestigious attraction and taking in all of the sights, sounds and smells themselves… and you should do the same this haunt season!
#4: Containment Haunted House
Lithia Springs, GA
“Atlanta’s Premier Haunted Attraction” will open their doors for the 2017 season on September 29th. Containment is located 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
#3: Gates Of Misery
Rome, GA
Going into their 11th year for 2017, Gates of Misery Haunted House is an indoor attraction that is open “rain or full moon!”
#2: Smiths Sinister Sanctuary
Lake Park, GA
This all-volunteer, non-profit attraction is secluded deep within the woods near the FL-GA State line. Visitors report that the haunt can take about 35 minutes to complete… that is, IF you make it through alive!
#1: Pavo Haunted House
Pavo, GA
Each year, Pavo Haunted House tries to pay it forward by providing local sponsorships in their community and making donations to various charities. For the 2017 season, they will be open every weekend in October!
