What They Liked Most:
Massacre is an excellent haunt. I’ve been to quite a few haunted houses in the Chicagoland area and this was easily one of the most immersive I’ve exp... erienced. Without giving too much away, they had moving train cars, elevators, floors that shift beneath you, and more. They pay attention to the details, which I really appreciated.
We visited on a Sunday mid-October and arrived about 10 minutes before opening. We ended up waiting about an hour to get inside.
Overall, Massacre was a fantastic experience. The level of immersion and creativity in the sets really sets it apart from other haunts. Definitely worth visiting!Read More
Suggested Improvements:
There were several stretches without any actors, so I suspect they may have been understaffed the night we visited. We were also grouped with several ... other guests, which is understandable given the busy mid-October season. However, being at the front of the group, I felt as though I missed a lot of the scares. They heavily targeted the middle of the group, and there were multiple times that I had to turn around to catch the aftermath of the scare.Read More

What They Liked Most:
This is definitely a good haunt! The actors are sharp, witty, and engaging. The set design was great as well, with lots of attention to detail.
Suggested Improvements:
I came to this haunt last year and vividly remembered two actors bantering in the diner scene which was hilarious. They had something similar in the E... R room this year, which was great, but I would have loved to see more of it this year. The way that they argue/build off each other’s energy is absolutely brilliant.Read More
