Summary:
A Night at the Manor is truly a haunted place. Macanell was built in 1911 and has not changed much
since.
The poor farm was built to be a county home, where people who were financially unstable could come live and work on the farm. There was also an infirmary and asylum/jail. Much of the jail is still pretty much intact today.
The Poor Farm was later turned into a nursing home. The fifty-three bed facility housed the elderly as well as mentally
unstable patients. It has been said that there were just as many mentally unstable patients as there were elderly.
