About This Attraction:
Summary:
A century ago, this land was owned by the Crawford family. They had two sons, Edgar and Ernest. The Crawfords grew up in a strict, disciplined household and kept very much to themselves. The townspeople considered them superstitious zealots as they remained isolated – especially Edgar. The two brothers got along well for a time and learned to farm this land together after their parents passed on providing food and sustenance for the neighboring villages. As years went by, Ernest married and enjoyed family life while Edgar remained alone and began to act very strangely wandering the grounds at all hours of the night. One would say Edgar’s paranoid delusions caused aggressive behavior towards everyone – including his own family.
At the beginning of October one year, townspeople began to go missing so deputies decided to visit the remote farm to check in on the Crawfords as they too hadn’t been seen in months. Upon arriving, they found the farm almost barren and and no sign of Ernest or his wife. they were shocked to find Edgar on the edge of the farm armed with a bloody chainsaw and laughing manically before running off into the trees. three deputies took off after Edgar with only two returning…failing to find him…ever again.
the farm would become abandoned with too much lore and legend for anyone to be brave enough to buy it. every October, strange sights and sounds can still be heard across the farm. ill-advised thrill seekers are still draw here with stories of apparitions.
