Since its inception in 2006, The Haunted Basement has garnered a nationally-renown reputation for its immersive spin on the traditional haunted attraction; blending artist-driven environments and psychological horrors with immersive theater to vault beyond the usual tropes of vampires and chainsaws. Now in its eleventh season, the company has evolved by leaving its long-time home at The Soap Factory and becoming its own non-profit organization to expand its programming and its mission of experimental and experiential theater through the lens of terror.
