The Haunted Mine

Pretty incredible haunt. Has to be in the top 3 in Pittsburgh. It took us about 35 minutes to go through. The detail in the mansion was incredible.... The entertainment value was high and had several startle scare. The actors scared from all part of our party of 7. They just didn’t scare the first or last person. They got everyone! The photo op spot with the Miner from my bloody valentine is cool and nice place to have him too. Had a really cool interaction with him. We were given a key word by another actor. We told the miner the word and he gave us a neat little trinket to remember the experience. The mine is the crown jewel this year. The atmosphere going underground is unsettling along with a little claustrophobia. The areas in the mine felt like a mine and not a haunt increasing the immersion level.Read More

Suggested Improvements:
We did wait almost 2hours and 30 minutes. There were fast passes available. But we didn’t get those. We expected to wait awhile but it didn’t seam ... like the line was moving fast. There was also a hold up while getting into the mine. We had a wait there too. They need to do something about the second line. Otherwise we had a really awesome time, we’re definitely scared and we even got some laughs in too.Read More
