If I could give this negative stats I would. Don’t waste your money at this haunt. They use live animals in the haunt. The actors and people who wo... rk there and very very rude and disrespectful. We went into the chapel and they said they hope we die like Jesus did. That was very uncalled for. There hardly any actors in the haunts to scare you. Very unprofessional.Walking trough the trail it was very unsafe with use stumps around. We couldn’t use our flashlights to see the stumps. I was afraid I was going to fall and get hurt! I have been to a ton of haunted houses and thus by far was the worst one yet! There is so many other ones close by that are so much better!!Read More
What They Liked Most:
I've visited many haunted houses over the years, and while I’ve come across some that feature churches or pews, I’ve never had an issue with that... . However, my experience here was deeply unsettling for other reasons. My cousin and I were confronted by an actor who, word for word, told us that we "should die like Jesus." That kind of language is not only inappropriate but downright disturbing, and it completely took us out of the experience.
Beyond that, the haunt itself was underwhelming. The outdoor terrain, which was more intimidating than the actual haunted house, had far more atmosphere. There were wide open spaces with little to no props, and a scarcity of actors to create any real tension. It felt like the haunt was more about the space than the experience itself, which was disappointing.
Another major concern: if you have allergies or a sensitivity to animals, this is not the place for you. One of the haunts housed several live animals in cramped cages, including five ducks stuffed into a tiny enclosure and two large chickens in another. Given that the location seems to be near a farm, you'd expect the animals to be treated with more care and provided better living conditions, but that was not the case.
Additionally, be prepared for a rough drive to the location. The road leading to the haunt quickly turns to gravel, with no streetlights or guidance. Make sure your vehicle is capable of off-roading, as the drive could be a challenge.
When we voiced our concerns, the staff was rude and dismissive. They simply brushed it off, claiming it was just our opinion and insisting the actors weren’t being offensive. Overall, this experience left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for a well-crafted and respectful haunted house experience.Read More
