What They Liked Most:
This haunt was pretty sick! I went in with low expectations, it was only 20 bucks and put on by a masonic body called the Shriners who support chariti... es like the childrens burn hospitals and stuff. What makes some masons think they can run a haunted house? So they took me on a haunted ride through the woods that was pretty good, but the house was really where it shined. They had a legit firebreather outside and she was good at it, and the walk through the house was genuinely terrifying and I do this all the time. There was a freezer scene that was amazing with one of the best jump scares I had all night, and the creepy doll room was next level. Turns out, they knocked it out of the park. It didn't have much of a cohesive storyline but each room had a clear direction and professional level props, and the scare actors were frequent and talented. I have been to probably every other haunt in the South and a few in the North and I would place this in my top...5 or so. Not a strict ranking but this place was amazing and for only $20 I will be back again. They said this was only their third year and they are already killing it.Read More
