What They Liked Most:
Nightmare Forest was a really good, haunt and definitely worth checking out. The overall experience was a lot of fun, and there was a good mix of cree... py atmosphere, scares, and entertainment throughout the haunt. One of the things I enjoyed most was the setting. A forest-based haunt has a completely different feel than walking through a traditional indoor attraction. The darkness, sounds, trees, and uncertainty of not knowing what’s waiting around the next turn all work together to create some genuinely creepy moments. The actors did a good job keeping things interesting and interacting with guests, and there were several scares that caught me off guard. I also liked that the experience didn't rely entirely on the same type of jump scare over and over. There was enough variety to keep you wondering what was coming next. The attraction had a good pace overall, and it felt like there was plenty to experience without dragging things out. You could tell there was a lot of work put into creating the different scenes and making the trail feel like an actual experience rather than simply walking through the woods. I wouldn't say it was the most terrifying haunt I've ever experienced, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It was creepy, entertaining, and genuinely fun, which is exactly what you're looking for when going to a haunted attraction with friends or family. What They Liked Most:
Went on a Saturday night and I'd go again. This isn't a walk-through in a warehouse. It's a real trail through real woods and the dark ... does half the work for them. The actors stay in character and use the space well, a couple of them tracked us down the trail for a while without ever touching anyone, which somehow is worse than being jumped at. Circus Bizarre was the surprise of the night; the sideshow stuff is genuinely impressive and not something the other haunts around Louisville are doing. Parking was free and easy, and the line moved better than I expected. Wear closed-toe shoes you don't mind ruining.Read More
