The trolley station, located at the edge of the woods, is bustling with activity. They say thereβs a town buried deep within those trees, and it looks like quite a few of us are curious visitors tonight. Between the warmth of the fire, I was just hanging out at, the delicious quesadilla I had while I was there, and the fun tunes playing in the square, Iβm feeling pretty good.
But then I watched the trolley, now loaded with people, start to roll away from the station. Little by little, it approaches the trees, and I watch as it gradually fades away into the darkness. I donβt know if Iβll ever see any of those people again; it suddenly occurs to me that I havenβt seen anyone return. What I do know is that eventually, itβll be my turn to board that trolleyβ¦ and, with a prickle of apprehension creeping up my neck, I realize I have no idea who- or what- is waiting in the town the locals have come to call Dark Hallow Creek.
Itβs 2026, and officially season number three for Dark Hallow Creek, an all-original haunted trail located in West Point, Kentucky. The story goes that before the area was West Point, it was a railroad town called Hallow Creek. Supply chain issues cut its citizens off from things they needed, forcing them to resort to desperate (and evil) measures. They eventually found another means of getting supplies to the town. How, you ask? Wellβ¦ that trolley I just told you about mightβve been packed full of βsuppliesβ, if you get my drift. The hauntβs story is always evolving, and this season has included several hints that some sort of nasty infection has taken hold, slowly clawing its way through the townspeople. Could I uncover Hallow Creekβs secrets without falling victim to whatever it was – or worse, victim to the crazies who lived there?! Keep reading to find outβ¦
NOTE: I experienced Dark Hallow Creek completely alone and did not join a group.
