Suggested Improvements:
The only thing that could be improved is the parking. There is little parking at the location. We parked on the street up from the haunt this year and... then I had to move immediately because it looked like residential parking and then the next lot was a little sketchy too but other patrons were there so I hoped I'd not get towed. It was a little bit of a trek to get to the haunt from there, but worked out.Read More

What They Liked Most:
Such drastic changes to the theme every single year, it's never the same story. You can really tell the amount of time and love poured into this ... haunt by the intricate level of detail in each and every scene. The masks/makeups (I couldn't tell which in some cases is some of the best I've seen in mid-atlantic haunts I've visitedWhat really put my experience(s) over the top was the acting. In larger format haunts I've experienced actors doing next to nothing to interact with the guests, but Darkwood Manor is not guilty of this by any means. It's clear the entire cast is doing everything they can to entertain you.Read More
