Scoring Criteria Transition: 2026 sits right at a change in our review categories and weighting, so this score isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison to reviews from nearby years under different criteria; worth keeping in mind if you’re tracking a haunt’s rating over time.

What happens to the demons that even the Devil himself cannot contain? Creatures so wicked that not even Hell could hold them captive? Before arriving, we visited the website for information about the haunt, including the address, dates and times, and ticket prices. Surprisingly, the website also features the haunt’s backstory, along with a video showing the best route to take to get there. However, we couldn’t find any current information about dates or ticket prices and had to search through Facebook posts to find the information we needed. The website was still displaying dates from an off-season event that had taken place months ago, along with other information that was no longer accurate. Once we arrived on site, parking was easy and… Read More…

Hell’s Dungeon has taken what could have easily been left abandoned and decaying and breathed fresh life into such a unique space. They’ve transformed one of the most unconventional settings into a truly devilishly delightful experience. Past the ticket booth and before you even reach the entrance, several ghouls lurk through the parking lot, setting the stage for the terrors that await inside. The waiting area is decked out in glowing blacklights, filling the space with vibrant colors and providing a fun photo opportunity before you enter. To begin your journey, you must walk through a coffin and over a… Read More…

Special Effects7.21

Since our visit three years ago, it’s clear that the haunt has undergone several changes. Much of what we experienced was new to us, and we were pleasantly surprised by some of the creative scenes. Audio also seemed improved, with fewer areas lacking ambient sound, while the lighting felt more intentional and effective at establishing the atmosphere. The sets have a unique, open feel. Many areas can be seen from other sections due to the layout and fencing used to guide guests. Rather than taking away from the experience, these sightlines helped build anticipation and tension by allowing us to… Read More…

You’ll find quite an array of devious devils and terrifying tricksters if you dare to venture into Hell’s Dungeon. Don’t let the facade fool you into thinking these are some mild-mannered folks, because they are anything but! The Devil himself greets you as you enter his domain, delivering a stark warning to all unlucky guests: “Protect your soul!” All kinds of creatures banished from the surface world inhabit this place, lurking in the shadows and preying upon the unsuspecting. Voodoo priests may demand your soul in exchange for passage, while wild, demonic hillbillies require a soul for their undead steed… Read More…
