Summary

The Nevermore Haunt is located inside an old furniture factory in the heart of downtown Baltimore, Maryland. This haunted attraction takes you back to the early 1900s, creating an incredible atmosphere that makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time. From the vintage props and detailed set designs to the costumes worn by the actors, every element helps bring the era to life and gives the haunt a unique historical feel. Throughout the attraction, you’ll encounter plenty of interesting, unexpected, and surprising details that make the experience even more exciting. Be sure to keep your eyes open… Read More…

The drive to The Nevermore Haunt was approximately 3½ to 4 hours for us, so we made sure to look over all the information on their website ahead of time. Thankfully, everything was straightforward to understand. Once we entered the address into our GPS and arrived at the location, we immediately noticed signs directing visitors to the parking area, which made finding parking completely stress-free. There are no parking attendants, so you are free to choose any available parking spot. As soon as we stepped out of our vehicle, the atmosphere was something else! With all the abandoned-looking buildings surrounding… Read More…

While waiting outside, you’ll notice a large sign displayed on the exterior of the attraction building, making it easy to identify the haunt. The outdoor atmosphere was honestly pretty unique, with an interesting mix of eerie surroundings and an almost forgotten, abandoned-town feel. The older buildings surrounding the property added a layer of creepiness that helped set the mood before we even stepped inside. Once we entered the attraction, there wasn’t necessarily a clear or straightforward storyline to follow. However, based on the scenes, props, costumes, and overall atmosphere, we got the impression that the haunt was meant to represent… Read More…

Special Effects8.1

As we made our way through the attraction, one thing we noticed was that the overall sound level was a little too low throughout the haunt. We really wish the soundtrack had been turned up because the music and sound design actually sounded good! Unfortunately, the lower volume took away from some of the impact that the scenes and effects could have had. A louder soundtrack would have made certain moments much more immersive and intense. One thing The Nevermore Haunt absolutely excelled at was its animatronics, Actormatonics, and overall special effects. They had some fantastic pieces throughout the attraction,… Read More…

Characters8.63

One thing we really enjoyed about the actors throughout The Nevermore Haunt was that many of them had their own skits, dialogue, and interactions with guests. We always appreciate when actors have individual personalities and original lines rather than repeating the same dialogue as other actors throughout the attraction. It helps make each encounter feel different and gives the haunt a little more character. We came across several actors who had some really entertaining skits, while others had a little less interaction or didn’t have much to say. One particular encounter we enjoyed was an actor inside the clock tower… Read More…

Scare Factor8.07

Throughout The Nevermore Haunt, there were plenty of startling scares and a great variety of scare techniques that kept us on our toes. From live actors and animatronics to air blasters and other unexpected effects, they incorporated several different types of scares throughout the attraction. We really enjoyed how well-timed and unpredictable many of these moments were. You never quite knew where the next scare was going to come from, which made the experience even more exciting! The scares seemed to come from all directions, keeping us constantly looking around and wondering what might be waiting for us next. We… Read More…

Value4.79

Ticket prices for The Nevermore Haunt vary depending on the night you choose to attend. General admission ranges from 24–34, Fast Pass tickets range from 30–49, and VIP admission ranges from 48–67. On the night we visited, general admission tickets were $34 per person. Our total walkthrough time was approximately 14 minutes, which brings the MPD (Minutes Per Dollar) to just 0.41. Unfortunately, this is on the lower end of what we like to see when evaluating the overall value of a haunted attraction. Ideally, we would like to see an MPD closer to 1.0, which would provide a better… Read More…
