There are so many, so we’ve created a creepy list of Halloween haunted house attractions that we’ve reviewed, visited ourselves, filmed, or are popular amongst many haunt visitors! Remember, this is not a “best of” list – this is a top list of haunts we feel that you need to add to your visit list this season for various reasons. Now… let’s get to this list of spooky shenanigans!

#5. Lake Joy Trails of Terror – Kathleen, Georgia

Lake Joy Trails of Terror is “one of Georgia’s best haunted trails” that raises money for a special needs playground and families fighting childhood cancer. When you visit them for a good scare, you’re supporting a great cause! They will be open every Friday & Saturday in October this year.

#4. Four Scythes Haunted Attraction – Cumming, Georgia

Four Scythes is “a top-rated haunted house in Atlanta, featuring Vespers Mortuary and the frightening Carnival of Screams clown maze. What sets our haunt apart is the dedication of our volunteers, who pour their hearts and souls into creating an unforgettable experience. Their commitment has made a significant impact, with over $180,000 donated to various causes in the last several years.” They will be opening on October 2nd for the 2025 season.

Netherworld Haunted House is not only one of the top, must-see haunts in Georgia, but it’s also included in many top 10 national lists, too! This powerhouse of a haunt offers two differently themed haunts at one location, a monster museum, an escape room, a bar, food, a great gift shop, bubbles, and more! They open on September 19th for the 2025 season and their two attractions are: Monsters Attack and Oblivion Return of the Mangler!
