The Curse of Dread Hollow:
Hidden in the shadows of the valley lies Dread Hollow — a town poisoned by its own wicked history and haunted by the spirits of the forsaken. What began as a peaceful settlement turned into a breeding ground for terror, forever marked by the cruelty of one woman: Mercy Harker.
She came whispering lies.
With twisted words, Mercy convinced the town’s founding fathers that thirteen young women were witches who had cursed the land.
Frenzy overtook reason. Fear spread like wildfire. Under the iron command of Constable Jedidiah Kane, the accused were condemned, hanged, and burned without mercy.
As the flames consumed the innocent, something far more sinister was born.
A piercing howl ripped through the night. From the clock tower, Mercy watched with wicked delight, declaring, “This town is forever mine.” In that instant, lightning struck — the tower shattered, crashing to the ground in a fiery ruin. Mercy Harker was believed to have died in the wreckage…
…but the curse did not die with her.
The blood of the innocent seeped into the earth, feeding a darkness still spreading through Dread Hollow. For centuries, the town has been claimed by sinister shadows — a place where nightmares awaken, and the line between the living and the dead disappears.
People simply vanish from Dread Hollow, fate unknown… their names and lives swallowed by the curse Mercy left behind.
Those who dare to enter feel it instantly — the heavy stillness, whispered voices carried on the wind, and the unsettling certainty that something is watching. Waiting. Hungry.

What They Liked Most:
This was my first time going to Dread Hollow. I was not disappointed. The clown with the orange hair got my girlfriend the minute we got past the pla... ce where they take your photo. She hates haunted houses because usually they are lame but this one was fun and worth it. It costs a little more than some others in Chattanooga. You get what you pay for! The section with the farmhouse was our favorite.Read More

This was my third year coming to Dread Hollow. I usually try to come on Girl's Night Out and I was excited they brought it back this year. They ... were doing dares before you entered the haunt on the night we went which was fun. (Yes, I ate a cricket...it wasn't awful.) Not sure tho if that was special for GNO. The sets are so good and the actors do a good job. The jumps scares got me. From outside of the building you have no idea what is happening inside, which I like. I also like the way they do tickets - you don't have to wait in crazy long lines because you buy a ticket for a specific time when you enter (like movie theaters do). It's the only haunted house that's any good in Chattanooga. Go and you won't regret the decision. I really want to try one of their escape rooms - I heard they were good.Read More

The dares were fun. Do them again next year.
What They Liked Most:
I've been every year since Dread Hollow opened. It's my favorite haunted house in Chattanooga because they change it every year. Lots of jum... p scares, lots of gore, lots of special effects you don't see anywhere else. Timed entry tickets are a plus because I hate waiting in line. I try to go early in October when it's less busy. This year, I'm going to also try one of the escape rooms after I go through the haunt.Read More
