About This Attraction:
Summary:
Welcome to the Nefarious Haunt Experience. You will investigate a very misfortunate mid-century slaughter of an iron foundry owner and his family.
George Brady, a disgruntled and mentally ill foundry worker, was laid off work during the devastating times of the great depression. Mr. Brady was desperate and full of anger because of this and on April 24, 1930, he went to visit his former employer Mr. Colton. Those next four days for the Colton family were the most horrifying and painful days few have ever known. Mr. Brady terrified, tortured and murdered the entire Colton family. Mr. Colton, his wife and three children were ultimately discovered months later after a passerby saw wild animals going in and out of the house.
The house was said to be the goriest scene local authorities have ever processed. The family members were decapitated, dismembered and some of their body parts were never recovered. Mr. Brady was found hung to death with a note in his hand stating, “I will never show mercy to those in this house”.
In 1972, four teens were said to have entered the house as a dare to see if the Colton family rumors were true. They were never seen again, and their bodies were never recovered. The only thing that ever proved they were there was their abandoned car left in front of the house.
George Brady still haunts the house and still vows to punish anyone who enters. If you are brave enough to enter, don’t stay long and don’t go alone.
