YβALLβ¦ THIS PLACE SLAYS! π And yes, we mean that in every sense of the word!
If you’re looking for a haunt that takes you on a full-blown adventure through the woods, throws you into some wildly creative environments, and keeps you guessing about what might be lurking around the next corner, then Millers Thrillers Haunted Woods needs to be on your Halloween bucket list!
Located on farmland off the beaten path, Millers Thrillers offers much more than just a haunted trail. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a lively midway filled with lights, music, entertainment, food, merchandise, and roaming scare actors. It’s an entire evening of Halloween fun, with plenty to experience before and after you make your way into the woods.
The main attraction, Hillbilly Hollar, is one LONG journey through a variety of themed environments built right into the natural terrain. We’re talking hills, rocks, trees, uneven ground, and some surprises that made us stop and say, “WAITβ¦ IS THAT REALLY WHAT WE THINK IT IS?” Yes, we’re looking at you, AIRPLANE! π
This haunt takes full advantage of its surroundings, incorporating the landscape into its scenes rather than simply placing decorations along a path. You’ll travel through everything from creepy mines and flower markets to a pirate ship, a Wild West saloon, a funeral home, a circus, and so much more. The variety is incredible, and just when you think you’ve figured out what kind of environment you’re in, the haunt throws something completely different your way.
And did we mention the hot apple cider? Because after wandering around enjoying the midway, that’s definitely worth mentioning!
Bring your walking shoes, prepare for a lengthy and sometimes physically demanding journey, and get ready to explore. This isn’t a quick stroll through a few spooky scenes. Hillbilly Hollar is an adventure, and with so many details to take in, you’ll want to keep your eyes open and your head on a swivel.
Honestly, we could write about this place all day and STILL wouldn’t cover everything we experienced.
Our advice? JUST GO! You won’t want to miss this one!
