Scoring Criteria Transition: 2026 sits right at a change in our review categories and weighting, so this score isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison to reviews from nearby years under different criteria; worth keeping in mind if you’re tracking a haunt’s rating over time.

Summary

Warehouse 31 is a 35,000-square-foot haunted attraction that offers guests more than just a pair of haunted walkthroughs. The building is home to two distinct experiences, Rigamortis and the 3D Experience, along with a Monster Midway where guests can relax and enjoy entertainment before or after their visit. The property also features an escape room and a front event space that is frequently used for private events throughout the year. With multiple attractions and entertainment options under one roof, Warehouse 31 provides a versatile destination for haunt fans and other visitors alike.

Guest Experience9.49

Warehouse 31 offers guests more than just a haunted walkthrough, with a sizable midway and indoor waiting area featuring plenty of activities and amenities to enjoy throughout the evening. The attraction is easy to find, and guests will find ample free parking in the main lot as well as several nearby lots. Entry to the property is through a large gate that opens into a midway extending around two sides of the building, with additional space indoors. The outdoor area features the ticket booth, several food trucks, fire pits with plenty of seating, and a large screen where guests can… Read More…

Immersion8.6

The immersion at Warehouse 31 begins as soon as guests walk through the front gates, where an expansive midway wraps around two sides of the building. There is plenty of room to move around, along with ample seating near firepits where guests can relax and watch movies while waiting for their group to be called. The first attraction, simply called the 3D Experience, immediately transports guests into a colorful clown world. Visitors are given 3D glasses at the entrance, which, when combined with blacklights, bring the artwork covering the walls and floors to life. The attraction features a mix of… Read More…

Special Effects8.29

Warehouse 31 utilized a variety of special effects throughout both attractions, with each making use of different techniques to support its environments. Lighting was well done in both haunts, although each took a different approach. The 3D Experience relied primarily on blacklights to bring its colorful artwork to life, while Rigamortis incorporated a mix of ambient lighting and well-placed accent lights to highlight details within its scenes. We also encountered several squishy-floor sections that added an entertaining physical element, making it a little harder to keep our balance while trying to focus on what might be lurking ahead. Fog was… Read More…

Characters8.44

The characters throughout both attractions at Warehouse 31 brought plenty of energy to their performances, although we felt that each could have benefited from a few additional actors to help fill out the scenes. Many of the performers in the 3D Experience were especially lively, with some making an effort to interact with our group while others relied more on loud screams to deliver their scares. The costuming in this attraction was a particular highlight, with many of the clowns wearing outfits that felt unique to their individual characters rather than the more familiar clown costumes we’ve seen at other… Read More…

Scare Factor8.21

Warehouse 31 offers plenty of opportunities for scares throughout both attractions, with several actors making creative use of hiding spots and pop-outs to surprise groups more than once. Some of these hiding places were easy for us to spot, however, and a few appeared to go unused during our walkthrough. A handful of performers did a particularly good job of trying to engage everyone in our group, while several others relied more on a quick grunt or growl before moving along. One of the more memorable scares came when an actor appeared to retreat after a pop-out, only to circle… Read More…

Value7.51

Our combined walkthrough time was 21 minutes, and the general admission combo ticket cost $30. This works out to an MPD (minutes per dollar) ratio of 0.70, placing Warehouse 31 in a reasonable range for value among the haunts we visit. Beyond the walkthroughs, guests can enjoy performing or listening to Scaraoke indoors, or relax outdoors near the firepits and ample seating while watching a horror movie. Actors also make appearances in both areas, surprising guests and posing for photos, adding a little extra entertainment to the midway experience.
