Cast Review:

The acting at this event was outstanding! The roaming thespian and the rag doll characters created some fun and chilling moments of interaction in the pre-haunt area. Within, a cast of nuns in Demented Dimention added a unique and dynamic energy to the experience: one standout moment was when a nun playfully encouraged someone to dance like a fairy by flapping their wings, while a priest delivered some surprisingly risqué jokes. The hillbillies of Meat the Mechanics were especially dedicated to their roles, making a genuine effort to entertain the audience. The cast’s commitment to interactivity was notable, although some of the off-colour comments might not be to everyone’s taste. The performances were lively and engaging, adding to the immersive atmosphere of the attraction!

Costuming Review:

The costuming at this attraction was remarkable, with the clown masks and makeup in the Killer Clowns zone being particularly distinctive, completely enveloping the actors’ heads and enhancing their eerie presence. Each costume was crafted to fit the specific theme of its scene, contributing to the atmosphere. The gas masks worn in The Tunnels of Terror were especially unsettling, adding to the tension of that area.

One standout was the ragdoll queue actor, who was transformed with an elaborate mask and costume. The leaf creatures that emerged to “attack” us were so well camouflaged that we mistook them for bushes, creating a thrilling surprise in the transition areas. Additionally, a wall of shelving that turned out to be an actor coming to life was a brilliant touch, as they leapt into action many times, heightening the immersive experience. The attention to detail in the costuming was exceptional and enhanced the thrill of the attraction.

Customer Service Review:

While there was a bit of distance to walk on busy nights due to a full main parking lot, there were attendants available to guide us, which was very helpful. We felt safe navigating the area, and we encountered no issues. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive, making our experience enjoyable. The website was user-friendly, and communication via email was smooth and efficient.

Immersion Review:

Prior to the haunt, we were held in a themed area that built the tension before the attraction. The immersion in this experience was quite strong, allowing us to feel engaged with the environment. There were a few moments when the crowds caused us to bunch up, which disrupted the flow of the experience, but this was a minor issue. Each area we explored presented its own distinct storyline, which was not only clear and intelligible but also intriguing, making it easy to follow and enjoy.

What impressed us the most was how each section felt like a unique world unto itself, complete with its own atmosphere, characters, and narratives that drew us in. The attention to detail in the design and storytelling enhanced our sense of immersion.

Special FX Review:

The built architecture throughout—from dark, claustrophobic tunnels to the chapel-like spaces—was exceptional, and sensory effects like sparks from a chainsaw-wielding character and an animatronic neon saw added layers of intensity. The crafted scene design in the tunnels was also outstanding, with remarkable attention to detail that left us impressed.

Toxic was an incredibly immersive experience. Blindfolded, we were guided through a dark maze where every sense was heightened: wet fingers pressed suddenly against our ears and faces, sounds came from every direction, and unexpected blasts of air kept us on edge.

The scene designs were of very high quality, though The Strangest Things segment felt somewhat disjointed. However, other areas impressed us with their unique and intense environments. For example, Killer Clowns was a high-energy adrenaline rush, featuring buzzing neon lights and moving buzz saws that added a visceral edge to the experience. In Dystopia, we entered a strange jungle through a gigantic skeleton face. Inside, the continuous hum of insects and a dense, smoke-filled space bathed in shifting red and green lights created an ethereal atmosphere.

Waking the Dead, a zombie zone, had animatronic zombies that relentlessly pounded on fencing, adding an eerie realism to the setup. Meanwhile, Meat the Mechanics transported us to what felt like an early 20th-century gas station, with booming music and a massive set that really brought the era to life.

We were especially struck by the set design in both The Tunnels of Terror and Demented Dimention. In The Tunnels of Terror, the passages seemed endless when you peered down them, giving a true sense of depth and danger. Demented Dimention featured a walkway over flowing water that evoked the solemn beauty of a chapel, leaving us awestruck by its detail and atmosphere.

Scare Factor Review:

While there were some well-executed jump scares, the experience leaned more toward thrilling than truly terrifying. Some moments were impactful, but the larger group sizes might have diluted the suspense and made it harder to build an intense, personal atmosphere.

The ending, in particular, felt a bit chaotic. We encountered a disorienting wobbly floor and a spinning tunnel blaring “You Spin Me Round,” which gave the finale a surreal, almost playful twist. The final scare—a classic chainsaw-wielding character—was an exciting touch.

E&V Review:

We were quite satisfied with the entertainment provided. The experience offered a full evening of immersive fun, with an extensive trail that kept us engaged. The large hangout area added to the atmosphere, featuring a DJ and plenty of roaming actors who stayed in character, enhancing the vibe and keeping everyone entertained between attractions.

The roaming scare actors were a standout—they were fully committed to their roles and added an extra layer of immersion. Many engaged visitors in eerie, in-character conversations, such as trying to sell “human meat” from an ominous, moving stall. This dedication to character created a lively, chilling atmosphere that kept the energy high throughout the night. All in all, it was a well-organized experience that delivered good value for a fun-filled evening.
