Summary

Myers Haunt Attractions – all run by the same owners – includes Myers Inn Haunt, Myers Forest of Fears, and Wolfman’s House of Screams. Newly acquired by the owners last year, Wolfman’s House of Screams was the final stop on our night of scares. After experiencing the other two attractions, we were ready to see what this haunt had in store for us.

Guest Experience8.49

Wolfman’s House of Screams was our third and final stop for the night, and because of this, it was pretty close to the end of the night, and the waiting area was virtually empty. As with the other Myers Haunt Attractions, the staff was very kind and helpful. They were still selling refreshments and had their seating area lit up and available for anyone coming in. There was one group that came after us, but we were able to go right in without waiting.

Immersion7.45

Despite the name Wolfman’s House of Screams, I found myself wishing we had encountered a little more Wolfman throughout the haunt. An actor portraying Wolfman would have been a great addition, especially given how well the animatronics fit the theme. That said, the animatronics themselves were impressive! One of the haunt’s biggest strengths was the immersion created by its many detailed scenes. We were particularly impressed by the variety of settings, including a birthday party complete with matching lighting, a church furnished with pews and an altar, the interior of a bus, and a Killer Klowns from Outer Space scene.… Read More…

Special Effects8.98

Wolfman’s House of Screams featured impressive Wolfman animatronics that fit seamlessly with the haunt’s theme and helped bring its scenes to life. The effects didn’t stop there, either! Doghouse animatronics sent dogs lunging out toward our feet as we passed, catching us off guard. We also encountered a vortex tunnel that was unbelievably fast, leaving us struggling to regain our balance as we moved on. Sound effects, lighting, and music were used effectively throughout the haunt, building tension and enhancing the atmosphere. Hearing the Halloween theme was an especially welcome touch, as it’s always a favorite!

Characters6.39

We estimated that between 26 and 36 actors were working at Wolfman’s House of Screams the night we visited. There were some standout costumes, including a witch, Ghostface, and Harley Quinn. Unfortunately, this is one area where Wolfman’s House of Screams fell short compared to the other Myers Haunted Attractions. Many of the actors wore everyday clothing, with little to no makeup or costuming to help establish their characters. Some wore masks without any additional costume elements, while others had no masks or makeup at all. More attention to costumes and character presentation would go a long way toward making… Read More…

Scare Factor7.69

Wolfman’s House of Screams offered a good mix of unexpected scares and immersive scenes that kept us on our toes throughout the haunt. Between the animatronics, well-timed surprises, and actors lurking around the various rooms, there were plenty of opportunities to catch us off guard. We started by being forced to enter separately. There’s a certain comfort in experiencing a haunt as a group, knowing you have your friends beside you. But when you’re sent in alone, that sense of security disappears, and every dark corner feels a little more intimidating. There were some memorable jump scares throughout the haunt,… Read More…

Value6.26

Tickets for Wolfman’s House of Screams are $20. If you choose to visit two of the Myers Haunted Attractions, tickets will cost $35, while admission to all three haunts is $55. Fast-pass options are also available. A VIP fast pass for one attraction costs $35, two VIP fast passes cost $70, and VIP fast passes for all three attractions cost $100. We took our time making our way through Wolfman’s House of Screams, spending a total of 13 minutes inside. We never encountered another group during our visit, so we essentially had the haunt to ourselves. Even with the extra… Read More…

It was a decently scary haunt and I am excited to go back! 20 is really affordable for the amount of time you are in this walk-through maze.
