Remember, this is not a “best of” list – this is a top list of haunts we feel that you need to add to your visit list this season for various reasons. #5. The Realm of Darkness – KauKauna, Wisconsin
The Realm of Darkness is “Wisconsin’s most interactive and most intense haunted house!” The immersive experience kept us on our toes throughout our last visit. The smartly designed layout of the haunt ensured that each scene offered its own unique impression. They open on September 19th for the 2025 haunting season!
#4. Screamin Acres Haunted House – Stoughton, Wisconsin
Screamin Acres “isn’t your average farm. Located 20 minutes from Madison, Wisconsin, in Stoughton. Eugster’s Farm is a fully operational farm where daylight meets darkness. By day, it captures the essence of a classic family farm with vibrant fall festivals, corn mazes, and driveways aligned with pumpkins. As night falls, those same pumpkin paths lead you into another world filled with creepy creatures, crazy convicts, and chaotic clowns.” Opening night is September 27th, 2025!
#3. Green Bay Fear Haunted House – Green Bay, Wisconsin
Green Bay Fear is celebrating 22 years of providing fear in 2025! Are you brave enough to face Dr. Kransberg as he tries to steal your soul to raise an army fit for Hell itself? Visits begin on September 19th!
#2. The Burial Chamber – Neenah, Wisconsin
The Burial Chamber consists of four haunted houses at this single location! Guests can face their fears in Adrenaline Haunted House, Insanity Haunted House, Phobia Haunted Woods, and Trapped Buried Alive Experience! With over 20 years of experience, this scare crew knows just how to scare and entertain you! The scaring begins September 26th, 2025!
#1. Abandoned Haunted House Complex – Sturtevant, Wisconsin
The Abandoned Haunted House Complex is home to three different haunted house attractions. This haunt is a must-see every year, and it just keeps getting better and better! Returning favorites are Ambush Haunted House, Hysteria Haunted House, and Stalker Haunted House. New for 2025 is Inner Fear – a high-intensity, timed survival experience that pushes you to your limits. Guests can also hang out in the midway with photo ops, Black Light Axe Throwing, a gift shop, and more!
