There are many great haunted houses, spooky trails, haunted hayrides, and more in the state of Alabama. But which ones should you focus on visiting this season? We’ve created a creepy list of Halloween haunted house attractions that we’ve reviewed, visited ourselves, filmed, or are popular amongst many haunt visitors! Remember, this is not a “best of” list – this is a list of haunts we feel that you need to add to your visit list this season for various reasons. Now… let’s get to this list of spooky shenanigans!

#10. Eastaboga Manor – Eastaboga, Alabama

Eastaboga Manor is more of an old-school-styled haunt with a creepy vibe! We visited this attraction in early 2025 for one of their Valentine’s Day events, and we must say, we were impressed with how many times this energetic cast scared us! While the haunt walkthrough doesn’t currently take you though the old, and truly, haunted house still at this time, the creators informed us that they are currently preparing to run the haunt through the house in the future!

#9. Hellbilly Hollow – Vincent, Alabama

Hellbilly Hollow is also more of an old-school-style, rustic haunted attraction offering three attractions for one low price. We also got the pleasure of visiting them earlier in 2025, and we had a lot of fun at this attraction. It featured unique scenes, an energetic cast, and unique costumes!

#8. The Terrortorium – Oxford, Alabama

The Terrortorium Haunted House is a unique Halloween experience located in the downtown area of Oxford, Alabama. This haunt offers something for everyone, including rides in their midway! They also feature a dark ride.

#7. City of Chaos – Eastaboga, Alabama

In the City of Chaos, the grounds of the city have been shifting each night. Weird smells and voices keep popping up, and trails of blood entering tunnel 109. The voices are getting louder, and so are all the creatures waiting for you deep within all of the chaos. We also got to experience this haunt in early 2025 and we were impressed with not only how large this haunt is, but also by their attention to detail and all the other things to do on-site.

#6. Conjure Haunted Attraction – Birmingham, Alabama

Conjure Haunted Attraction is one of the newest haunts in the Alabama scene. It is the only haunt within Birmingham city limits. With over 50,000 square feet, we’re sure Conjure will have a little something to frighten everyone! In addition to their haunted house, they also have a massive Halloween store complete with costumes, home decor, and more! We got the pleasure of visiting Conjure in February of 2025, and we were majorly impressed with this haunt and what they accomplished in such a small amount of time. This haunt uses high-tech scare combined with confined spaces, distractions, and quick-witted characters to make your skin crawl!

#5. Sweet Dreams Haunted Attraction – Mobile, Alabama

Your worst dreams will come to life inside Sweet Dreams Haunted Attraction! We lost track of how many times we screamed during our last visit! The terror will begin for the 2025 season on September 19th!

#4. Atrox Factory – Leeds, Alabama

Within this 50,000 square foot indoor attraction, you can find “Industrial strength horror” – known as the Atrox Factory. This is one of the largest haunted events in the southeast, and one you don’t want to miss!

#3. Nightmare at 3008 – Fultondale, Alabama

Nightmare at 3008 is an intense, actor-driven haunt that will leave you screaming for your mommy! This two-story (Yes, two floors!) haunted house features actors who are not afraid to get in your personal space, along with many scenes that take you through a sadistic town filled with irate madmen, crazed clowns, and much more! Opening September 26th. We assure you, you do not want to miss this one! And for those who are super adventurous, the haunt is behind a bar where you can get great eats and hang out with friends for a nice drink and entertainment.

#2. Warehouse 31 – Pelham, Alabama

During our time in Alabama earlier this year, Warehouse 31 quickly made an impression on us for how well-detailed, creative, and unique this haunt is! We cannot wait to go back to this one. They packed one heck of a scare punch with intense scenes throughout this all-indoor attraction with multiple haunts inside. They also had a large indoor area with a stage for Scareoke, a gift shop, an escape room, and more!

#1. Arx Mortis – Killen, Alabama

Arx Mortis is a must-see haunted attraction featuring five diverse and terrifying tales that go both in and out of buildings through cemeteries, caves, swamps, and even a clinic. For 2025, they are bringing new thrills to the table with remodeled areas, new characters, and a new zone!
