We’ve created a creepy list of Halloween haunted house attractions that we’ve reviewed, visited ourselves, filmed, or are popular amongst many haunt visitors! Remember, this is not a “best of” list – this is a list of haunts we feel that you need to add to your visit list this season for various reasons. Now… let’s get to this list of spooky shenanigans!

#13. Hells Bar Dam Haunted House – Guild, Tennessee

Hell’s Bar Dam Haunted House takes place in a real haunted building! It is a real dam, it is really haunted, and there are underground tunnels! Need we say more? This dark, dank, and disorienting haunt is unique and features quite an array of characters and scenes! Oh! And the goats in the parking lot are just added value! Seriously! Pet the goats! The scaring begins on September 26th for the 2025 season!

Bloody Fork Haunt completely rebranded and moved locations last year, and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the fear-inducing table this season! This is a high-sensory, full-contact experience! You’ve been warned! The scares begin September 27th, 2025!

11. Devil’s Dungeon – Nashville, Tennessee

Since the year 2000, Slashville Haunts has been running Devil’s Dungeon, a spine-chilling attraction located just outside Nashville alongside the Cumberland River. Promising a sensory overload with its carefully crafted scenes, dedicated actors, and eerie props, Devil’s Dungeon has been haunting Nashville for over 25 years. Hell opens September 26th for the 2025 season!

#10. Dead Man’s Farm – Philadelphia, Tennessee

Are you ready for a horrifyingly crazy experience? Come on out to Dead Man’s Farm and see for yourself all they have to offer! They have two haunted attractions, a huge Midway area with games, fire performers, and concessions. Will you survive the Bludgeon’s family curse, and will you make it through the cornfield of lost souls? The screaming begins on October 3rd!

#9. Slaughterhouse – Hermitage, Tennessee

Slaughterhouse is Nashville, Tennessee’s longest-running haunted house! This haunt will take you through an attraction rooted in the old Courtyard Cinema, where crazies and killers are around every corner!

#8. Millers Thrillers Haunted Woods – Columbia, Tennessee

Millers Thrillers is more than just a haunted attraction; it’s a full-blown night of entertainment! From thrilling scares to live shows, food, photo ops, and even the chance to kill zombies with paintballs, this place truly has it all! If you’re looking for a one-stop spot for Halloween fun, this is it! With multiple stages featuring jugglers, acrobats, and stilt walkers, there’s always something exciting happening. The photo scenes and concessions add to the experience. The best part? It’s all set in the eerie middle of nowhere, making it the perfect setting for a spooky night out! The 2025 season begins September 27th for the woods only (no hayride).

#7. Screamville Haunted Attraction – Knoxville, Tennessee

If you are looking for an amazing cornfield haunt, look no further! Screamville Haunted Attraction is absolutely terrifying! Whether it is their stunning costumes or fantastic scene designs, Screamville has proven that you can put on an incredible show with a lot of hard work! Returning this fall to Screamville is Camp Getaway! Both Camp Getaway and the Cursed Acres open September 26th, 2025!

#6. Rigor Mortis Haunted House – McMinnville, Tennessee

Floors squish beneath you, creatures spring to life when you least expect it, and overhead surprises are guaranteed to keep you on edge. Welcome to Rigor Mortis… and whatever you do, don’t listen to the Dybbuk box! Open select nights starting September 19th!

#5. Avondale Haunted Barn – Rutledge, Tennessee

Avondale is a truly terrifying experience that you don’t want to miss out on! Be prepared to face your deepest fears in this spine-chilling haunted barn. Fear lives here… The scares begin on October 3rd, 2025.

#4. Nashville Nightmare – Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville Nightmare remains a must-see haunted attraction featuring four haunted attractions. The 2025 lineup includes: Horror High Final Exam, The Boogieman, Fairy Tale Hell, and Area-X. Guests can also have fun playing mini escape games, gain access to secret bars, venture into the Clown Alley haunted maze experience, test their wits against live actors in the Zombie Apocalypse Training Facility, and more! Returning September 6th!

#3. Dread Hollow – Chattanooga, Tennessee

The creators at Dread Hollow have been haunting Chattanooga for over years and currently reside at the Browns Ferry Village shopping center. For 2025, “there’s no escape from the nightmares that lie within,” and guests must venture through The Belle Royale Hotel, Dreadwood Forest, and Dread Hollow High School – The Reckoning. For those who love escape rooms, they also have multiple on-site. The halls will begin to fill on Thursday, October 2nd!

#2. The Scream Chamber – Athens, Tennessee

The Scream Chamber is the scariest haunted house in Tennessee! Rooted in the truly haunted Cleage Hotel, this haunted house will give you a run for your money! We recommend the optional touch pass to enhance your experience! You can always take it off if the experience becomes too much! Opening night is September 20th, where you can also join them for their 6th annual kick-off event!

#1. Haunted Web Scream Park – Memphis, Tennessee

Haunted Web Fear is Back

This twisted web of fear offers four haunted houses at one location. The 2025 attractions are: Piney River Campground (new for 2025), Slotch Sanatorium, The Residence (fully immersive and updated for 2025), and Voodoo Village Haunted House. Guests can enhance their visit by getting the secret bar pass, shooting live zombies, trying out an escape room add-on, and more! Your nightmare begins on October 3rd!
