Background: Meet Team Michigan Macabre, Kristin!

Kristin had a love for all things scary since being a child, thanks to her mom who has an equal (and slightly obsessive) love. Every book growing up was a Goosebumps, every Saturday night was a sleepover with “Are You Afraid of the Dark,” and every movie was, of course, in the horror genre. Most memorable: Pet Sematary, Poltergeist, Friday the 13th, and the infamous IT.

Naturally, Kristin was drawn to haunted houses. Going as a child and an adult, Halloween was always her favorite time of year. Kristin attended as many haunts as she could each season and never missed Cedar Point Halloweekends!

Fall is the most magical time of year while Kristin attends pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and Halloween parties. Kristin is known for her Halloween party, going above and beyond to bring all things scary to her guests.

Kristin’s love for haunted houses has now brought her to The Scare Factor where she reviews haunted houses across the state of Michigan as well as in Canada each season.
